Make Mother's Day special for you!

                         ```"`HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY-"---which is always 3 weeks  before Easter--We have sun--cool temperatures-
-Happy  "Mothers" everywhere, to-day----Mothes do deserve huge recognition--maybe even breakfast in bed-----Somehow Moms never really  get the "breakfast in bed" thing---which was always OK with me--It was usually easier to just get up and ---"at-er"--before an enormous mess  would have to be taken care of---I loved Mother's Day however--  It meant we usually went out , for some meal that day --which meant one meal less to cook----
Mother's day  to me, meant I could spend time in the garden--Springtime---and I did love to  see the flowers in the Spring --
Mothers Day meant also, more time  for "ME" to   do things that I enjoyed--Usually my children wanted to help out more that day--so I might even have gotten a walk in--with one or 2 dogs--and maybe even a blueberry pie made--And it was wonderful to feel sorta special and appreciated----
                                                     Sometimes flowers  might even arrive!
        So, where ever you all are, I hope that even one special event might mark your Mother's day-- just to show you how much your family really do appreciate you!
                                            HAPPY MOTHE"S DAY TO YOU ALL---
                                                Try to make to-day special for you---
                                                    You certainly have earned it!
    I hope Matt, if he isn't flying, and family are able to take you out for lunch or dinner. Enjoy your day whatever you do!
  6. It's Kathy. Happy Mother's Day to you, Lynda! I do love Mother's Day - it's the one day that I feel it's okay to just take care of myself. Daisy bought me 2 lovely hanging planters filled with petunias for Mother's Day. My daughter is coming later to grill steaks for us. All I need to do today is pick up my house a bit. Maybe finally plant my little plants this afternoon when it's shady in that garden! I hope you have a lovely day!
Those are lovely flowers in your picture. I love the Spring flowers. Beautiful day in Ohio and sunny! Have a wonderful evening! Hugs!
  11. Lynda, an interesting one for me. I am on my Kindle using the hospital's Internet.
    We couldn't do karaoke last night. We can't go to our casino Monday for JoAnne's BD. But she is fine. If
    They did my surgery, though. I now have a rod holding my hip together.
    I have a nurse here doing all she can to make life pleasant for me. I have pain meds i have never had...life is good.
    This is hard. Will find out more tomorrow. {{{Hugs}}} Love, Maggie
  12. Yesterday evening my son-in-law brought me a lovely bouquet. Today I had church, was was wonderful as always, and afterward my daughter and I had time for a chat, and for her to have me open my gift. Then we had supper together at home. Restaurants are too crammed on Mothers' Day, so she ordered in from the place of my choice, which was Chipotle's. We watched one of my favorite show and generally relaxed. It's been a good day, and I"ll be hitting the hay pretty quick.
    Happy Sunday.
