Help someone, Make their day!

BE HAPPY----  Because it is  better than being sad all day--You might as well enjoy to-day, because none of us know how many more days we have!--Now I HAVE "BIG" news!--I want to tell  you--

--I CAN SEE!

I CAN SEE ----like--I CAN SEE EVERYTHING---I had the Lazar  surgery last evening--me and about 50 other senior citizens --It wasn't bad---Son#2 drove me in, and helped me out of the room after cause I was so blind from the sunlight--It really is a miracle!-Before I got home, I was beginning to see ---no more fuzz------and this morning, everything is so bright everywhere. The TV is beautiful---so many colours--- and I see leaves blowing on the trees-- and a lot of dirt in the apartment here. I thought I was cleaning it all the time, but obviously I never saw the dirt--This morning I hired a cleaning Lady--

I heard having the Lazar  is a one time deal--They can never do it again, and if the fuzz comes back, then it will be the "macular"--  I guess then you just give up and accept going blind--like my Mom did!

SO BE HAPPY TO_DAY--because we never know  what is coming into our life as we grow older--

Enjoy the day--appreciate your eyes--Get outside--Smile at some older person (You never know what they are going thru)--

Now get out there---
Help someone  --make their day!!

  1. So glad the laser treatment was successful and that you can see again. I had it done a year ago, and mine too was very successful. I hope you enjoy your day.

  4. Yay for the successful lazer procedure!!! Isn't it wonderful when the vision is crystal clear and the colors vibrant? I wear majorly big sunglasses which protect from the side as well. I was warned about protecting my eyes from the sun, and we live on the high desert so lots of bright sunshine here.

I agree about being happy and glad for life as much as possible. For me, it takes work at saying quick prayer of gratefulness and redirecting my thoughts to the blessings after releasing the hard thing to God.

    Happy Wednesday!!

  11. Didn't see this until now, sis. Didn't check for replies on the previous one, either.
So happy you can see! What would you do without Matt?!
Great job hiring a cleaning lady, too. The Veterans Admin and my County government are looking into cleaning help for me, too.
I am still in lots of pain, and the doc has cut the amount of pain relief I can have down! We'll see how that goes.
Yes, we need to think of things that make us happy. That makes the rest of life bearable.
Breakfast is on the way, so i'm outa here...to check back later. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  12. It's Kathy. I'm so glad the surgery worked and bless Son #2 for taking such good care of his mom. That's how I felt after my cataract surgery - there was dust everywhere and I couldn't even see it before! It's finally stopped raining here and the sun is shining. I'm hoping for a good day! Enjoy yours!

  14. Just a quick note to say that I had to have the lazor treatment done twice on one eye, several years apart so don't give up if it starts back.
