Add a little laughter to your day-

To-day is Sunday, December the 7th--It is very cold outside-No snow falling-- but probably because it is so cold--- Son#$2 is here--hanging pictures----I just haven't had time to do that-

                                    -So--Do "you" like you??--

--------and. who really cares?--Do "You" like "You"?---Christmas Day  is close--We have been sorting out who is going to get what--lotza decisions to make--last minute things to buy--like a tiny snow blower would be helpful--the large one I used to have is just not possible to store here--but I see a very small one--like a snow shovel, advertised at Canadian Tire-- has a battery and I could fit it in here------So----Words I Wish I had written-below-Because it is Sunday --and because Son#2 is here --

#1. A healthy marriage puts the marriage before the children

#2 .The only normal people are the ones you do not know very well.

#3.If you have  nothing to do, at least do it with other people.

It is Sunday--  Son#2 is here--leaving probably tomorrow--

Remember-- You can be strong--BE STRONG---I shall check in here later--AND---  add a little laughter to your day

  1. Good morning, Lynda! It’s 31 and mild here in Ohio! I bet a small snow remover would be great! I am extra happy Matt is there and helping you. He is so good! Enjoy his help and company. Have a lovely day! Hugs!

  2. Good Sunday Morning!
It's cold here in Northern Kentucky. It's 34 degrees and they are calling for snowy/rainy weather today and overnight. I don't have to go anywhere so I won't be out in it. I have a buy week this week so hopefully the weather won't be too bad for driving around.
That's nice that Son#2 is hanging pictures for you. And you get to visit too.
Have a good day and stay warm!

  3. Hi Lynda
Glad Matt is hanging pictures. He's a good guy. Wish he could stay longer.
No doubt tribute to Dr. Fred was lovely but emotional.
Not my business, but curious do you "really" want a snowblower...youve already got a snow guy. I wouldn't want to get out if I didn't have to. Will a small blower even work on your BIG snows? Whatever, your decision.
Stay warm. Enjoy your time with Matt.
    Hugs from cold St.Louis

  4. Son #2 is my very favorite of all your kids. Thoughtful, warm, caring, and accepting. And I can say that because I'm not his mother!

  6. It's Kathy. I've seen those little snow blowers - looks a bit like a shovel. They advertise them on the news and they look like just the thing for you. I don't think they are too expensive either. My driveway is way too big for that. I think if I lose Tom I'll have to hire someone to plow me out! OR maybe just stay home all winter! Take care and enjoy your son!

  7. Hey, how was the fundraiser? You didn't mention it. I thought about you. I also donated in honor of Fred.

Enjoy your time with Matt. I had thought he'd be visiting a little bit longer, but glad he is getting the pictures up for you.

  8. Good afternoon, sis.
Love the words of wisdom today! The second one really did it for me.
Yes, I like myself...even love myself. We need to care for ourselves or we can't care for anyone else.
Happy your son is helping you. We are lucky to be blessed with such great kids.
I have kinda been in a panic. It seems that Purina has sold out (or quit selling) one of the two favorites of my kitty's food! I got a couple cans of turkey to try so to switch off with his favorite. So far he loved it! Now if it doesn't make him thow up I'll be fine. I am sure you know about that.
Hope you get the new little throw blower and that it words well for you. Maybe it will be easier and you won't have to pay for someone else to clear the snow for you.
Back later, Lynda. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  9. The little snow blower sounds intriguing; does the store have an open sample on the floor so you can try handling it? Or maybe, does youtube have a video of a regular person (not an ad) using it? We so rarely get snow here that I don't need something like that. I've found youtube videos very helpful for figuring out how to use or fix a thing or two...

    Happy Sunday!

  10. Yes! So important that WE like ourselves, no matter what someone else thinks.

That little snow thrower sounds right for you. You can use that help when clearing snow!

Glad you have Matt there to help you. What a good son.

    HUGS and blessings.

  11. I have been seeing videos of those tiny snow blowers that they are marketing as "electric shovels" these days. They look nice, and part of me is tempted. If you do get one, I look forward to seeing if it meets your needs.

We're still dealing with the ice from the storm a week ago, here.

Glad your son #2 helped with the picture hanging.

  12. So nice that Son#2 is there hanging pictures for you! Could you send him to my house when he is done as I have a bunch of pictures sitting on the floor in front of the walls where I hope to get one of my kids to hang up for me????? Just kidding...my son #2 is my biggest helper so far, as he lives the closest to me, but I hate that I keep calling him to help me. Maybe when all 4 of my kids are here with their families, some of them will ask what they can help me with......(I think I am dreaming that this will happen!) A small snow blower sounds like a good plan if you have somewhere to store it! We had way too much snow for me to even think about using one....fortunately a neighbor that I don't even know too well came in his great big tractor with headlights and windshield wipers and a cab to keep him warm, and dug my long, long driveway out - twice! I wish I knew some way to thank him....if it wasn't for him, I would still be snowed in about a week later!
