Good morning, Lynda! It is 8 degrees in Ohio and feels like minus 6!! So cold!! I hope you have a wonderful breakfast out with Dave! It is your birthday month. Enjoy every day of it. Mine was the 10th and I always remember yours after mine. Stay warm! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, sis. It's "Cold as a witch's (you know) here too. We have lots of sun, too.
ReplyDeleteThe photos of your daughter-in-law holding her baby are great!
Love Elliot and the dogs!
Reminding you that Dave is your friend now.
Careful in that snow!
I'll be back again, too, {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Good Morning!
ReplyDeleteIt's a balmy (just kidding) 4 degrees here with about 6 inches of snow here in the Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky metro area. Luckily, it's fluffy snow so it's easy to shovel.
I don't plan on going out today except to refill the bird feeders and heated bird baths. Besides, I have plenty to do inside. Laundry is almost done, then breakfast, a long workout, dinner, and some online shopping and gift wrapping. So yes, we women are busy, busy, busy.
Glad you are meeting up with son#1 friend for breakfast. How nice!
Thanks for sharing more family pictures with us. Always nice to see.
Have a fun day and stay warm!
Hugs to you, Lopez, and Sushi.
Jackie
Oh, my goodness! Coal and Tess? And of course the kids who are now grown! Pretty cold down in Nebraska, also, coldest so far of the season. January is usually worse, though, so not holding my breath.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's ALMOST your birthday, dearie! Glad son#2 knows the way to the new place. Wishing you the happiest, in case I don't make the virtual flight!
It's Kathy. Cold here too. 13 below 0 when I took Daisy out this morning. She woke me at 7:30 to go out, then I fed her and went back to bed. She decided enough when she got up at 8:30 and stared at me until I got up. She didn't want to go out again, she just wanted me to get up! It seems she's in charge these days! I hope you have a nice breakfast with Dave. It's nice that you are getting out. Tom and I had a good conversation this morning and planned out our week. Yes, us mom's do have the bulk of responsibility for the Holidays! This week I want to get all my cards done - both for the children and for my friends. It's a big job! But I learned something yesterday. Tom came upstairs while I was making dinner and asked if he could help - usually I say no, I've got this; but yesterday I said yes and gave him a job to do. He stayed and helped until dinner was ready, and I really needed his help! Guess I need to learn how to let him help me!!! Have a really great day!
ReplyDeletewonderful photos of the Baby love the ones from your old house and the dogs the encouragement in the little quotes helps so much

Hi Lynda
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your breakfast out with Dave. Celebrate your BD all month.
It's crazy cold in St.Louis. like 1,2 or 3 crazy but no white stuff. Pictures of the old house reminded me of your struggles with getting your driveway cleaned out and all the yard work and the black flies ugh. Glad you're not still there. Way too much work.
Have a great day.
Yes, women are extra busy this time of the year. We always manage to get it done for our families. Little kids make Christmas fun. None of those in my tiny family.
Stay warm.
Big warm hug from cold St.Louis

It's Marti. Yes, I still have things coming for people for Christmas. Mostly just gift cards that I was too lazy to go get in the stores. They never really tell me what they want, or they tell one person and forget to tell me, so I have to wing it.
ReplyDeleteWe had what was for us, a big snowstorm yesterday, it started about 1 pm. I had intended to make it to the grocery store earlier than that, but slept in, so I was out in it about a little after 1, but it went perfectly, which is unusual. A car was just pulling out where I wanted to park, there were no carts left in the store, but a man was just wheeling one out, empty, and I took it, and the line wasn't too tremendously long. The roads were well salted, so after I got back in I just sat back and enjoyed watching it come down, though I did have to put on my boots to get the dog out at about 3. I'd say about 5 or 6 inches, but hard to tell. Maybe less. I DO like one BIG snowstorm, and then after that I'm usually about done with snow, LOL. Central Ohio doesn't really get too much. Actually, it's unusual to get this much before January, but sometimes we do.
There is a condo white elephant Xmas party here today in the community center from 4-6, but I just am not in the mood to go, and besides, I forget to buy the green bean casserole ingredients to take. It's nice to just sit and be lazy. I'm doing the laundry, and did the bed linen laundry yesterday, always a chore.
Do enjoy your breakfast out. I guess I'm just being antisocial today, LOL
Marti again. Oh, I forgot, it's also very cold here, and poor Jake was both loving the snow, running around a bit, and also shaking his little paws b/c it was so cold. It's 13 degrees - but the sun is out, that makes me very happy, I'm not so happy when there is no sun. The colder it is out, the more likely it is to be sunny, for some reason. So I'll take it!
ReplyDeleteOh, and little Emma is/was adorable. Such delicate, feminine features!
