It is Saturday, December 6th--and we have a mixture of snow and rain falling here--Son #2 is on his way here--for Himself's celebration of life--
I shall try to get the "blog"out everyday-- over Xmas--but--in case I have to miss a day here and there, please hang in-- It just means a busy day here--and another blog will eventually appear--To-day it was the driveway that I had to clear but the thoughts were still waiting to go in the blog--just had to happen a bit later--
So--- Can you remain "positive"-----in spite of all the negativity around you?--- "FAKE it till you make it""--Mom always said that-- so I try to keep busy--go where there are people--even if I do not know these people--It does help--or, I invite people to come out to eat-- that helps also--and then there is little Lopez who needs quite a bit of attention--but he seems to understand when the tears take over once again--and then there is the TV-a noise---company----in the house--

Yes, Christmas is a magical time. Filled with family, friends, pets, gift, laughter, good food and fun. I don't know if I'll be going to my daughter's again, but we may have a celebration where everyone brings good for for a party with the residents. If not then, on New Year's or Day!
It can be hard to see the positive in some things, but it's always there if we look for it. I saved the meme.
Time to do stuff now. Just got back from 'Becca's trip. Now eating lunch (we stopped at Burger King).
I'll be back later, Lynda. Just a reminder to be careful of you and Lopez in the snow and ice. (We're supposed to get more tonight.)

DeleteMy dear, I am glad that Son #2 is coming for the Celebration of life for Fred and Louis. I am sure it will be emotional for you but I hope there’s also some joy seeing how much Fred was loved by not just you and your family, but the community.

DeleteHi Lynda, I haven't been on in a long time because my daughter has been in the hospital since the end of August. Bue to all the problems from radiation treatments 39 years ago for hodgkins. I pray often and am out with people as much as possible. I always enjoy your posts and I know the holidays will be full of friends and family for you.
