Make someone's day Happy!

Now isn't the above so true?----"Real friends are good friends---the best---same as family--"-

We have rain--cool temperatures--but, that doesn't really matter--because we are up and at-er--ready to face another day--We are so fortunate to  be able to be a part of this day--So, put on yer best "BIB and TUCKER" , as Dad used to say, and your smile and positive attitude, and let's appreciate that the good Lord  is giving us this opportunity to make the world a better place. Lets bust a move, you crazy girl--

You can Boogie Woogie, Shimmy , Shake ,Twirl and Whirl, and bust a move you crazy girl---

Last night, I went to bed with my books on  "Widowhood"---like--how to get over the sadness??-- which I am learning does not go away--one just learns how to live with it, I guess. I do find however, being around people help me , a great deal---  like getting out -

---I still believe I should start a "Wacky wives" organization--or something like, "The Merry Widows"--Staying in your apartment, or home alone,  does not help the sadness disappear--Also, owning a pet is helpful because they keep one busy--

I hope your day will be "wonder-"--ful-----I suppose one must make it that way--- It does not just happen---  like--get out there and talk to people--make their day wonderful--

and before I go---a blast from the past that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face--
Somewhere in the  picture below,  is our daughter's daughter--Sophia-----

Just looking at these children will make your day--- some are making faces--They are happy-- We CAN be like them---Enjoy yer day----Laugh Out LOUD!--Children are the best!

  2. Hi Lynda, it's Kathy. It seems I totally missed yesterday's blog. Not sure how that happened, but yesterday was a pretty messy day with everyone and their brother needing to talk to me for one thing or another. Add in my 2 1/2 hours at the gym in the morning and my 1 hour counseling session in the afternoon - there were a lot of things I didn't get done. How special that you were able to have dinner with 2 of your sons.

I also wonder sometimes just who the heck I am. I am definitely a person who does not understand technology. Yesterday I was logging in to talk with my counselor on-line and it said my microphone and camera were off - I had to get my husband up here to quickly figure out why! But I do believe that himself is there with you in spirit - he lives in your heart all the time. I know my dad is with me always!

I love the picture of those beautiful children - such happy faces. And I also want to be the one who can Boogie Woogie, Shimmy , Shake ,Twirl and Whirl, and bust a move you crazy girl! We took little Daisy very early to the Vet, she has to have her teeth cleaned and one broken/infected tooth pulled. She was so brave but my house feels so empty! The Vet called to let me know she was under the anesthesia and what the needed to do, that was nice of her! Hopefully she'll be home with us by afternoon! Have a good day!

  3. Yes, sis. Kids are great. We've all seen a phrase that tells us to try to see the world through the eyes of a child. Everything is amazing and wonderful that way.
And pets, too...they not only keep us busy, but give us unconditional love, are someone we can talk to, but don't talk back.
I have already spoken to my doc's nurse who wanted to know if I have any concerns, visited with a friend, got Lucky to play a bit. Now I have bathroom stuff today. I am committed to doing my exercises today, too. Gonna try to clean my 'foam' bathroom rugs, sweep up and do dishes, too.
Nice day. It will get up to 70F later. It's mostly cloudy, but the sun peeks out now and then.
My friend, Donna, visited for a while already and we had a great interaction. JoAnne is getting transferred accross the street to the facility where I did my rehab. They fixed her esophagus problem. She can now eat and drink.
Love the memes, as always. You find some really good ones.
I'll check back later to see how your day went and if you have left any comments. On to see what the day brings...{{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. YES! Real friends are family w/o a birth certificate for sure!

Glad you are finding good advice reading your books. For sure, sadness never does go away, but you learn how to cope over time.

Those kiddos made me smile! Thank you.
