A New Day to be Strong!

Yes, "YOU" ARE brave-- You are the best at being "You"-- Don't be afraid to be yourself----It is okay to cry--"YOU" CAN say yes--You can say "No"-

You are loved!--so important to remember that YOU ARE LOVED!------You are important!  Thank You for being you!

Now if I could read the above, every morning, I would do so much better that day--

So----We have sun here --cool temperatures ---  and I slept in--till 5am--  LOLOL---  Will I ever be able to say that I slept in, till 10am--???????

Sushi---- the cat I brought in from the cold many moons ago--, now sleeps on Himself's side of the bed--It's  like she has decided that she will replace  the person who used to sleep there--Bless her heart eh?--
I always wondered why the good Lord brought her into my life many years ago-- One never knows what has been  planned in our future--

One must just accept what  goes on everyday , in our lives--because he it seems, there are  plans that we are not aware of at that time.-
- Remember how Sushi appeared on a minus 30 C night--hungry, freezing cold, and lonely?---Himself welcomed her,    even tho we already had 5 children and several German Shepherd dogs---Do you think he knew that one day she might fit into our  busy lives??

Himself did welcome this stray kitten with with an open heart--and she decided to reside under his side of the bed--for several months.  -I was pleased that Himself accepted this stray little kitten who seemed to bond with him.--

Father's Day to-morrow--

So many good things to think of -- make "HIS" day the best ever!
Some good ideas below, to have that positive  outlook on to-day--

GET STARTED!----GIVE THANKS!  READ SOMETHING POSITIVE ---THEN THINK ABOUT SEVERAL THINGS YOU NEED TO WORK ON TO MAKE TO_DAY  A POSITIVE DAY__
Get Started----
a couple old pictures ----a blast from the past

our 4 boys  in Jamaica with their Aunt ---
Below, Himself with son #4 and his new wife-a wonderful memory-
Himself was ALWAYS  a very positive person----
Remember--What you do to-day--will be to-morrows memory!

  1. Good morning Lynda
Thank you for the positive, uplifting inserts today. Wonderful..thank you. YOU are amazing. I so admire your positivity.
I do remember Sushi came in from the cold. I did not remember that she was Fred's hidden buddy. I remember Fred put that complex cat tree together in record time. Sounds like Sushi choose your house for a reason.
Yes, rainy again but it's not constant showers today. Yay
Happy packing/purging. Every box gets you closer to home. I'd be surprised if you "needed" all the kitchen stuff
Not much need for a lot of pans and dishes and stuff when cooking for one. Heck, use paper plates lol
    Hugs dear Lynda

  2. Good morning, sis. You are early today, and so am I.
Love the memes...especially the last one.
Love the photos, too. All 4 sons grown up...and great one of Himself.
I need to wait til my pain meds work before I decide what to do on any particular day. Right now it's make another cup of coffee and eat breakfast.
I have a delivery coming today of a new pair of shoes. I saw them on Facebook, but never buy there. If I'm interested in a product, I go to Amazon and look it up.
Maybe I can get a load of laundry on my walker and no one will be using the large machine. Hmm...
Yesterday I changed Lucky's litter to sWHEAT...all natural, flushable, etc. That's one I saw first on Facebook. My local pet store carries it, too, in smaller bags. He has adjusted to it already. I also got a wooden holder for 3 cat sized dishes. It sits several inches off the floor so I don't need to bend down so far to retrieve the bowls for washing and refilling.
Hope your day proceeds just as you want it to. Accomplishing, resting, etc. I know mine will...cuz I'll make it that way. Checking back later, Lynda, I offer you {{{HUGS}}} and Love, Maggie

  3. Morning Lynda,
    Lovely post!
Ah, Sushi is a sweetie and I am sure she misses himself too. Maybe she is trying to comfort you and herself by sleeping on himself's side of the bed. Ah, that makes me smile.
    Good pictures!
Have a great day! Give an extra hug to Sushi and Lopez.

  4. Hi Lynda, it's Kathy. Your post has put a smile on my face and has given me some hope. Today is a very sad day in Champlin, the town I have lived in for 43 years now. Two lawmakers have been shot overnight - a woman and her husband have died and leave behind 2 children. A man and his wife and daughter have been shot but will likely survive. We are on shelter in place orders because the person, who was dressed as a police officer, is at large. I'm not really afraid for myself, but so overwhelmingly sad for these people who have spent their lives doing good things for others. Your words have brought me comfort and for that, I thank you!

  5. Maybe Sushi notices the Spirit that you can’t see?

  6. So glad things are moving along. While you are anxious to get moved, just remember how happy Fred was when you made this last move and he could be on one level and had the attention of his son and daughter in law. He got out more in those few months that he had in a long time! Also, this last move enabled you to sell the house and way too much land. Things happen for a reason. Frankly, I just wish you were not moving into a 2 story townhouse. While you can do the stairs now, you aren't getting any younger! Believe me, the last year has proven to me that I don't need steps!!

  7. Sushi is such a beautiful cat! And for sure, He can see how things will go and makes things happen that we may not understand for years! Glad Sushi is in your life. Such a sweet cat.

LOVELY photo of DS#4’s wedding. So many memories!

    Hugs and blessings
