Do you even think of "YOU" each morning?-- Are you just too busy feeding the cat---or eating breakfast so you can get on with yer day?--It is a privilege to be alive!--
-So-- The mover brought boxes yesterday-at my request.- They are doing most of the packing, but because I am sitting here, alone, I thought that perhaps I should do some --- like maybe put the winter clothing in a box-- maybe more also---I figure I have about 4 weeks here--then I'm heading North--I also ordered a bedroom set for the 2nd bedroom-- I ordered it from a furniture store in Elliot Lake---
I found a few pictures from the past---thought you might enjoy seeing them--
Fred, Allison, holding her daughter, her husband, and Phil on the rt holding his daughter-- now in her 2nd yr of University-- Grandchildren with our son in law My sister in law--with Fred on the rtSo, How is your day going?-- Are you happy?---Are you feeling strong?---- People who feel strong can hold up other people, you know! "A smile is contagious!" Remember, "a nap can cure a lot of things-"-"Talk to your plants and animals-"-Be someone you would want to be friends with"--"You can only be sure of today"--"You can!"----and "Never give up control of your life"--
-There are so many words of wisdom---old proverbs from my Mom-- who knew everything-----or--thought she did--LOL--
Hugs to you all--
Sis, I love all your words of wisdom. Most of us had moms who gave those words to us...grandmas, too. And I learned more as I grew, studied and lived life. You did, too.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos from the past, too. We have so many. I have them on my desktop computer, phone and in frames all over my apartment. Some are in photo albums, too.
Remember how I lost my wallet? Well, I got new cards from my 2 banks, the credit cards I lost (and had mostly paid off) are being sent in the mail. I got a new driver's license yesterday, too. I am all set now.
I ordered new litter for Lucky's box. It's flushable and environmentally friendly. It came today...SO HEAVY! I don't know how I will get the bag out of the delivery box and near where his litter box is. Sigh. I may have to return it and go back to the lightweight clumping litter from the grocery store.
Now it's almost lunch time. I tired Lucky out with a new electronic toy that, darn it, will not zoom around on the carpet. He was intrigued, to say the least.
All for now, dear. Gonna try to call JoAnne soon and hope they have her phone where she can reach it.
My next door neighbor was hauled off in an ambulance this morning, too. Waiting to hear about her. She is supposed to have surgery.
All for now, dear. Get to your packing. It's exciting and exhausting to make a move. Good luck with it. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Good afternoon, Lynda! It is sunny and in the 80's in Ohio. It sounds like you are on it with your moving. You have boxes and a new bedroom suite ordered. I love your pics of your sweet family. I hope you are having a wonderful day. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear you are having packing done (except for what you choose to pack). That should help a lot. And glad that you found a bedroom set for your 2nd bedroom. That will be nice.
ReplyDeleteHUGS and blessings. Hang in there.

It's Kathy. It's been raining here for days now. I need to get my garden planted and this morning we started to put up the fence - then more rain. Hopefully it will be nicer over the weekend. Daisy had her follow up today and she's good, all healed up. She was happy to go to the vet but once inside she started shaking. She's such a scared little girl. I think it's a good idea to start with the packing - that way you'll know where some of your things are when it's time to unpack. Love the photos!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynda, great words of wisdom from our moms and grandmother's. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIf you put BR furniture in 2nd BR is there still room for your office and Sushi's cat tree?
I do hope the main bedroom is big enough for your king bed. Packing unused clothing etc is a great plan. At least you'll know what's in a few of your boxes lol
Cool family pictures. Be well and safe. You are loved.

Hi Lynda - Always love seeing your pictures. Thank you for sharing them. Great idea to get started on packing. Each box you fill gets you one step closer to home. Sounds like everything is coming together. 😊
