Does worrying work??

AND----  It really is almost --"SUMMER"--!--And here we are--a part of it all---summer clothing--  green grass--flowers--birds-- swimming- fewer clothes---a whole new season!---Summer arrived yesterday at 10-40am-----  Did you know that?----THIS IS THE FIRDT DAY OF SUMMER--TO_DAY!   ------I DO  LOVE SUMMER!

To me, I am happy to know that I have not as long to wait for my big move back up north--It will be ANOTHER move--but--I will be heading home. Below is a picture of the highway, going thru Elliot Lake-I can even see Himself's MacDonald's sign-- He loved to go there once a week--and get a take-out meal.

I could not get the TV to work this AM--   Son#2 has it hooked up to all sorts of different things --and unbeknownst to me, forgot to pay the bill-- so--hopefully he can correct that soon, and we will be back in business again---  I just want it hooked up to normal everything , so that all I have to do is turn it on--and a picture will appear--I don't need  any complications--

Lopez and I have not been out yet---We will have to get out there--All the morning walkers are seniors--and they all have dogs--mostly small dogs.   AND LOPEZ DOERS NOT BARK AT THEM AS MUCH NOW--He is more used to seeing people and other dogs.

I try not to take life so seriously--Just float through the day and always hope for the best---A few pictures---from, "A blast from the past"--
-A Christmas-- many moons ago--all the babies  in this picture are now at University--
This little one, Sophia, just toured Xavier University ,in Cincinnati,  where Himself received a degree in Business- a long time ago--
                                    -Below--Emma  is a dancer--now in her 2nd year University----
How is your day going?--Are you as happy as a clam at high tide?--  Mom used to say that!
Hopefully you all are -- relaxing,  and enjoying,  the day--
Be happy------ If we  believe we can, then,  usually we can do anything!

  1. Good morning
Sure feels like summer in St.Louis. We're unde some kind of heat dome and it's going to be high 90sF for about a week
I guess that's better than constant rain.
Himself and Matt both like McDonalds.
Hoping Matt gets your TV going again.
Time goes so fast. The little kids in universities.
I've got lots of Sadie duties today. No relaxing for quite some time.
Take Lopez for his walk. At the big house in EL, Lopez didn't see people and other dogs.
Make today a good day. Thats my plan.
Worry changes nothing aside from losing your serenity.
    Hugs from very hot St.Louis

  2. Good Morning!
Happy first day of Summer! It's sunny and going to be a hot one here today. Xavier University is in my neck of the woods. I live just across the Ohio River in Northern Kentucky just ten minutes from downtown Cincinnati. That's cool that she is thinking of going there. We were just in the Over The Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati last night for a wedding.
Hope Matt gets your TV working.
Glad little Lopez is getting more used to being around other people and dogs. It just takes a little time.
    Have a great day!

  4. Good morning, sis!
It's very hot and humid here today. There is a severe heat warning.
There is a 'heat dome' over us. I may actually turn on the A/C.
Lopez has learned a lot in Lakeville. He will take those lessons back to Elliot Lake.
    Love your family photos.
About worrying? You know I follow the Law of Attraction which teaches that what we focus on, believe, visualize, etc. is what we get. A great quote from LOA is, "Worrying is using your imagination to create something you don't want."
I actually drove Rebecca on her errands yesterday! I was thinking about returning to karaoke tonight, but there is Bingo first. Karaoke won't start 'til almost 9. Within an hour after that, I'd be ready to go home. It costs big bucks to play the Bingo, so I wouldn't do that.
On to what the day will bring...we will make it a great weekend, won't we? {{{HUGS}}} Love, MaggieMaggie

  5. Hi Lynda! It’s hot in Ohio which is fine by me. I have the AC on drinking iced coffee but may sit out a bit. Sorry about your tv. I don’t watch tv but my husband loves it for sports. What does Sophia want to be? Medical field like her parents and grand parents? Enjoy your first day of Summer! Hugs!

  6. It's Kathy. It's very hot here today and tomorrow so Daisy and I are staying inside. I understand about the TV - my husband understands what needs to be done but if he left me I don't think I'd be able to watch TV at all. Too many buttons to push! I'm glad it's getting closer for you to move back to Elliott lake. Have a lovely day.
