"What the "Heck"----

To-day is Friday, December 12th--dark--  5-56am---just up  up here---Well I have the wash in the machine-- plus Son#2's bedding--and it is chugging away--He has returned to his home near Lake field--It was so much fun having him--I know he enjoys being here as Son #1, 3 and #4 are all living here.
Hopefully we do not get more snow to-day--  I just had it all cleaned up--I am afraid that there will always be more snow here--There are so many lakes around us--which attracts the snow--

So---  Here we go---  Words I wish I had thought of--
#1. You can't try to do things, you simply must do things
#2, Do not throw away the old till you know the new is better.
#3. Avoid Sarcasm.
And now--(Here we go!)--Blasts from the past---
                            --that   infamous  Hannah smile!
-                            -Look at sweet little Hannah--
                            Son#2 holding someones baby--

son#2 at the airport--
with Hannah--
So, How is your day going? Are you feeling happy? Remember, you CAN fake it till you make it--(Mom's expression)--
I shall check in on you all later--  lots going on here--It is a new day--We are a part of it--   My "grief course " is finished--for now--and it helped me immensely--I do recommend   people who have lost their partner in life, to take the time to to take a course like that.--I was told that my husband had completed  whatever he was put on earth to do, so it was his time to enter the spiratual world---but--  I wish I had known that one must complete their purpose in life, and only then do they go to Heaven--tough  for me to accept-- Oh well--  What the heck!--Lifc is so full of new experiences isn't it??--

  2. Good morning, sis!
No snow yet here, either. It is cold, though...14F and no sun.

Love all your photos. We're not 'supposed' to have favorites, but I'll be Hannah is your favorite grandchild. Don't feel guilty about that...I'm sure you love them all.

Lynda, that kitty I took my friend for yesterday is for him! Sweetest
tiny angel with whiskers ever! I'll send a photo to your email when I get one.

I saved that meme about suddenly 1975 was 50 years ago.
That one line in your words of wistom reminds me of "Do or do not. There is no try." Yoda

I must check the laundry room soon. I want to get at least one load done today. I still haven't had breakfast so I'd better get busy. I shall return. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  3. Good Morning Lynda,
    Happy Friday!
We have snow as well. It happened overnight and we have a couple of inches. More snow is expected tomorrow and they are predicting at least a couple more. Then Sunday they are calling for a high of 7 degrees. I don't plan on going out that day. Brrrrr!
Glad you took the grief classes. It sounds like it was a help and gave you some closure.
Cute family pictures and I love the cat picture at the top of your post!
Don't shovel too much as there will always be more, LOL.

    Have a good day!

  4. It's Kathy. Yes, life is sure full of surprises! We are getting more snow today and personally, I've had enough. By dinner time it will be below 0, not to rise again until mid-day Sunday. So I'm staying home! Love the photos, isn't it nice to remember happy times! I hope you have a good day today!

  5. Mission in life... yep! My mom used to quote a spiritual advisor of hers, who told her if she was still alive on the planet it was because she either had something more to learn, or something more to give. I think about that, and it brings comfort.

  6. For sure, I am maxed out on snow, but I think Mother Nature has different ideas.

Glad you had such a nice visit w/Son#2.

Yes! Have to just DO what needs doing. For sure, keep the old til the new proves useful. Sarcasm . . . well, I DO use that sometimes, but only occasionally. LOL

Hanna is adorable. Look @ those dimples. Love the blasts from the past.

I am so glad that you took that course and that it helped you. I have heard that before that you have to achieve your purpose in life, then you’re ready for the spiritual journey. As you say, hard to accept! But . . . not something we’ve been asked our opinion about.

    Hugs

  7. Hi Lynda
I love Hannah's smile. She's grown now but she was an adorable little girl.
Im really glad you completed grief course. There are numerous opportunities and offerings should you decide to try another class at some point. I hope you made some new friends.
Supposed to be single digit temps here Sat and Sunday. I can do without that.
    Enjoy your day.
    Liked your cat insert.
I really like what the hell as an appropriate response....it does seem to come in handy often.
