  1. Good morning, sis.

Not snowing here, either, but it is cloudy and just barely over freezing.

Here's a link for you and Sushi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqMG_9cvjZE copy and paste it...who knew this stuff? I am thankful for cat behaviorists and vets.

I'll be back later, too! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  2. Good Morning Lynda,
Glad you were able to get out. It sounded like you were a little snowed in, with all the snow you got.
It's low 30's here and cloudy but it feels like low 20's. We will be getting some snow later this evening. I don't have anything scheduled for the rest of the week. So glad because the last two weeks were crazy busy.
Wishing you, Lopez and Sushi a lovely New Years Eve!

    Hugs,
    Jackie

  3. We are in a slightly above average day here, after two slightly under average temperature days. The roller coaster of winter temperatures! Anyway, it got over 40 yesterday, so most of the dusting of snow has melted or blown away.

Glad you had a chance to get out and hope you safely got yourself and the groceries home in the cold!

Wishing you, Lopez and Sushi a peaceful and safe and warm New Year's Eve and on into 2026. Happy New Year!

  4. Hi Lynda, I need to go get groceries too.

I had a scary night. I have two tall bottles, one is for my Metformin diabetes medicine. I had just got new bottles and I mixed it up with another medicine, so I ended up with too low of a blood sugar, at 2 am. It went below 50, tried to treat it, but it wouldn't go much higher, and ended up calling the squad. By the time they came, it had gone back up - I had taken 3 tablespoons of honey after taking my two glucose tablets. Living alone, I was afraid to go to sleep and it dipping too low. I decided to just stay home today, as I had hardly any good sleep.

Happy New Year to you, you've gotten thru the worst, and may life continue to look up for you in the coming year!

    Marti
