It's the laughter we remember--

To-day is Tuesday, Dec.9th-- It is snowing hard outside--The roads are not good!--I had to go to the clinic--had an appointment with my Dr--The cleaning Ladies were here this AM also--and when I returned home, the house looked and smelled so so clean--My cleaning people come every 2 weeks--It seems to be enough--

Below is a photo, from Son#2--taken this morning as he was driving home from here--It makes one believe in God doesn't it??

Below is a picture of our tiny yard--and look at all the snow--

                                    This snow-- fell this  AM--

--Here we are in front of the Hospital, at Fred's ceremony-It was freezing freezing cold--
and little Lopez -below--who thinks he owns this chair--

So---Life goes on--
And-below---Words of Wisdom--

#3.Free your weekends for your family.
Life is always good isn't it?--We are so fortunate to be alive--so many good things happen--family is so important---I remember when we had 2 weddings on our family--our daughter--and our son--we were so proud of them!~
Fred's Mom and Dad--taken in Jamaica--
and Hannah-Son#2's daughter--the Pilot--always in an airport--
Life is what we make it--  I hope you enjoy most days-- are proud of your family --
It's the laughter we will remember--

  1. Hi Lynda,
Matts picture is beautiful. However, your snow is not.
Coming home to fresh cleaned house sounds amazing.
Nice turnout for Dr. Fred's tribute.
Both daughter and son got married around the same time. Thats a lot of stress, but fun.
Stay in and enjoy your clean house

  3. Hi Lynda! You do have a lot of snow. We are having a weather day tomorrow in Ohio. Lopez is cute as a bug in that chair! So glad you enjoyed Fred’s ceremony. How nice! Love the pic that Matt captured. Stunning! Enjoy your clean house. I bet it feels great walking in and everything so fresh. So neat with the two marriages. I really hope you come to Allison’s in the Spring. Have a restful evening! Hugs!

  4. Hi, Lynda. Cool pics, the sky looks so lovely in Matt's pic, but a lonely looking vista.

That's a LOT of snow, I've never seen that amount of snow very often, maybe the blizzard of 1978. I was at college then, we had a blast, as we were young. Stole the trays from the cafeteria and went sledding down this HUGE hill that was on the campus! I guess that amount of snow is normal for you guys, to get that here would be abysmal. Don't get me wrong, I love snow when it first comes down, and when it's glistening and fresh. After that, it's just ugly with all the brown snow and huge snowdrifts. I do like walking in it when it's not plowed yet, much easier to get around than when I have to put the snow grippers on.

Someday when I'm older and can't do it anymore, I'll get a maid too! For now, my iRobot does the floors, and I dust when I get around to it, LOL

  5. It's Kathy. I'm glad I checked back. Love the photos today and how cool to have two children married on a beach. It's been snowing all day here too - I'm sure we have 3-4 inches and it's suppose to start up again in the wee hours of the morning. We live on a main road and from about 3 to 6 pm it was bumper to bumper cars going by our home. Daisy watched for awhile, telling them to stay away from our house. I was very happy to not have to go out! Tom is snow blowing right now so hopefully I can go to my class tomorrow morning. Daisy loves my chair too - even though there's an exact duplicate just a few feet away that is seldom occupied. As soon as I get up - she gets up! Funny doggies. Take care.

  7. Love these memories (and the present)... life is indeed good, and we need to live it best can do, each day as it comes. Yesterday I had the laser treatment to clear the cloudy from my lenses that were inserted for my cataracts. It was pretty awesome. I had no idea it would go so quickly. I should have had an idea, I mean, they told me it was quick... but no lie. No anesthesia, no patches, just a little gel and some zaps, and by suppertime, clearer vision!

  8. Glad the ceremony went well. You better figure out a spot in the house to store that electric shovel. Looks like you might not be able to get it out of the shed, LOL!

  9. Good afternoon, sis.
Wonder when you did this. I don't believe there was a Tuesday blog yet when I checked last night. It's Wednesday now. Oh, well, I got it now!
What wonderful photos! They do bring back great memories, and IT IS the laughter we will remember, the hugs, the friends and family we love around us.
The service for Fred must've been well attended, and I bet he was looking down on everyone.
I finally got my Christmas cards done, the part for my new exercise bike that got lost in transit...
Now it's just laundry, garbage, etc.
Tomorrow I take my friend to a neighboring town to pick up a new kitten! 3 months old...a little boy. We can hardly wait.
Back later. Let's just find reasons to be happy! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
