Make to-day great day--

Good morning__It is Thursday,  December
the 11th--  "AND, I HAVE RETURNED--"--had to take yesterday off from posting  a blog after our last "Sad GRIEF Counselling session"----so--- I made it to every meeting--even on a very snowy day, which was yesterday----We had a huge snow storm going outside---
Our wee yard looked like the above--the snow even deeper--and the roads were slippery--  Wee Lopez was left here alone from  early - morning to after 4pm--and-  He was very happy to see me return----To-day I hope to meet Himself's friend for breakfast----busy days- busy days-
and it will be--  I just know it--Here it is still very dark out----And to-day I must soon turn on the car--let it "run" a bit to warm up--

Words of Wisdom--  #1-  Buy comfortable furniture

#2---Think of ways to improve your life-

#3--Make sure your children ARE children while young-

I hope to-day you will feel strong--also happy----Try to get a wee rest in---and make it a great day--Below is a Son#2's family--a couple of "Blasts from the past--

EVEN THEIR DOG_
and a very snowy day below---where we lived on the lake-

I must get off of here--I hear the wash machine is done--and Lopez needs to get out--Make to-day a great day--

  3. So glad everything is OK! Was worried when you didn't blog yesterday! So glad you are going to the "grief meetings"....as a widows, we need any extra support for adjusting to our new paths in life....sigh. Please stay safe today....I hate driving both at night, or in snowy conditions, so usually I don't go anywhere except during the day! Hope you have a great day!

  4. Good morning, sis.
I will repost that Snoopy meme.
No snow yet here today...yet. We already have several inches on the ground, though. It is cloudy and cold...7F.

Your son's family is very photogenic! Love the smiles.
I am taking a new friend to pick up a 12 week old kitten in a neighboring town, stopping at Walmart to pick up food and litter. He is going to get his cat stuff out of storage first. Exciting!

Happy you're having breakfast with your son's friend. When are you going to start calling him YOUR friend?

So the grief classes are done. I bet you made some friend connections there, too.

All for now, Lynda, but I'll be back later. I forgot to check again for comments on yesterday's blog before I read this one.
    {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. Hi Lynda, it's Kathy. I'm glad you were able to attend all the Grief sessions. I'm sure it has helped, at least a little bit. I'm so proud of how you keep going, no matter what. I hope you realize what an amazing person you are! No snow today, but more coming tomorrow and the weekend won't even get above 0. I'm happy to stay in with little Daisy!

Great that you made it to all the grief sessions. Hoping you made some new friends there.
Sounds like breakfast with Matt/your friend has become a weekly outing.
Matt and family picture is great. Hes an awesome guy. Love the dog.
Be careful out there if you must go out.
Crazy cold here. Weekend will be 0...hate it.
