Make Xmas full of love!

It is DEC , 16th--my Birthday-- not long until Christmas Day--A Lady friend took me out for breakfast, which was lovely--  The roads are very snowy-have to go slow--as they are slippery-----and without a garage now, it takes time to clean off the vehicle.---it sure looks like winter here--so--to-day I am 83--How can I ever be that old?--

                                        Can it really be me?---

A few "blasts from the past" here--memories---

Above is a picture of Fred --someone's wedding I believe--He never sang--so he must've been making an announcement--

Charlee, Son#1's daughter--  at her  Christening--
above--  Willow watching over someone's baby--
So, Are you ready for  Christmas??--  Does it really matter??--Christmas will be wonderful anyway--It always is--

I hope that you are trying to enjoy everyday--Live each day as if it were your last--Respond to rudeness with kindness--Don't over schedule--You can never go wrong keeping your mouth shut-----Let anger die quickly--and Be Patient--  Patience can wait for anything--and--be happy--He who laughs, lasts--

Christmas is the best--make it happy--make sure it is full of "LOVE!"

  7. Lynda, wishing you a very happy birthday. You're 83 years young. Very nice that your special day started off with having breakfast with a friend. I'm sorry you're having to deal with so much snow. That photo of Willow with the baby is so precious. Hoping your day continues to be a happy one.

  14. Happy, happy birthday, Lynda! Love what you quipped above, "You can never go wrong keeping your mouth shut!" Sometimes it takes a body a few decades to learn that bit of wisdom, eh? And if I'm lucky enough, maybe I'll make it to that milestone!

  15. P.s. Alicia363 says "Happy Birthday" to you, too. I left a comment on yesterday's blog to that effect, but just in case you haven't been back since I added it, I'm putting it here, too. I mean, after all, you can never be wished a happy birthday too much!

  17. First! Happy 83rd Birthday to you! I hope you had an awesome day! You are a very special person who brings much joy to many through your daily blogs! You are loved by many! And especially me!
Your birthday is a bittersweet day for me - as it was exactly one year ago today on your birthday when my dehumidifier in the basement decided to malfunction and melt itself causing many thousands of dollars due to the smoke and soot damage that destroyed the interior of my lovely home.....but happily, with insurance, prayers, family and good friends, I am back living in a completely remodeled home! As a matter of fact, I am sitting in my family room looking at my new Christmas tree and having a glass of champagne - all by myself! I wanted to celebrate that I am back and just decided to treat myself to some bubbly! hahaha! So raising my glass to you, Lynda and wishing you a happy birthday and toasting myself for being back and being able to have Christmas in my home....as there was none last year! Cheers!

  22. Good WEDNESDAY morning, sis. Guess I didn't check here late enough in the day again to see this.
    Glad I texted you!
You are 4 1/2 years older than me...not that much.
We haven't got any more snow for several days, and the temps are warmer.
That's all I'm gonna say here in case you do a blog today. Then I will comment more.
Oh, yes! All those things in your words of wisdom today...I do them. Gotta choose joy! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  24. It's Kathy. Happy Birthday a day late! I hope you had a lovely day and your children showered you with love and attention! It was my granddaughter's birthday also, and I think I had the nicest talk with her ever! They live in Roanoke, 1250 miles from us. Not sure when we'll get to see them again - we went in 2024 but it was a tough trip. We've had a couple of really nice winter days! Wish it would last, but looks like more snow tomorrow.
