MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!

To-day is Wednesday December 24th-- I have to go for blood work at the clinic this am--at 7am it opens---When I return I will  blog--It is dark outside right now--The good news is--It is not snowing!!--So--I shall return--and add to this--

I'm back---I was the 1st one there so the nurse, Anne Marie,  took me first  , of course, and I just "be-bopped'  back home here--
The back yard looks like the picture, above--with the sun coming up--but, now we have snow--Lopez and I tried to walk up the road, but it is just too ice-y--so we are back home here and Lopez can go
out in the yard as soon as the daylight appears--

Have you made any "NewYear" resolutions? What is your plan??
I guess my plan is to  not cry as much-- accept the fact that we all must die one day--and learn to live alone--well-with Lopez and Sushi-(not much of a plan, but-at least I am trying)-

Words I wish I'd thought of_-
                #1.--Find joy in everyday things
#2.Trust your intuition
                #3.Believe the best of everybody

Blasts from the past--

So--  A new day is beginning-- I hope you are  happy--Christmas Eve--
and we are a part of  the blessings of Christmas--2025----Celebrate the joy of Christmas-----  I know  my "Himself" will be near--
MERRY CHRISTMAS  to you all---

  3. Merry Christmas, Lynda. I will be busy after work, wrapping, going to church with neighbor lady, etc., so I will wish you Merry Christmas now! You don't have to be Merry, as I read somewhere, you just have to count yourself blessed to get to be able to be with those that you love!

  4. Merry Christmas Eve!
It's a busy day around here trying to get a workout in and then getting ready for one son and his wife to come by for dinner, candlelight mass and then getting together with some family afterwards.
Sun and no snow here but it's supposed to rain this evening. Not what I want for Christmas eve but it is what it is.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas, Lynda!

    Hugs.

  5. It's Kathy. Love the photos, you have so many wonderful memories. One day this winter I am going to go through my photos, I have so many. I don't want to leave all that for my children. We are going to my oldest daughter's this afternoon for our Christmas Celebration. It should be really nice! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  6. Good morning, Lynda! It is high 40 and cloudy in Ohio. No snow! Careful on the ice or wait. Not a good present to have bloodwork on Christmas Eve. I would have worried all night. I always, always get a butterfly needle but still hate it. You are so strong in every way! We will all have a great 2026! Let’s DO it! Have a lovely day! Hugs!

  7. Good morning Lynda, great that you were first as the lab so that you could return home. Hopefully if there is snow, it's just a light dusting. We're having rain and wind, today, tomorrow and Friday, but temps in the 60s. I know you'll be going to son #3s home tomorrow to celebrate Christmas, so I am praying that there is peace and harmony among everyone and that you can have a chat with each of your grandchildren.

  13. Merry Christmas to you, and Lopez, and Sushi! Also to all your children and their families. I am so thankful that they are involved in your life!

As for New Years' resolutions? I guess just keep on keeping on. I have a similar household to yours, with Ember and The Prisoner being my closest companions, and being grateful for the inclusion in my son and his wife's lives. On Boxing Day they have a zoo trip planned, which will result in Ember having a longer than usual day care day.

Keep being wise about the icy conditions! It's better to be safe than sorry! Merry Christmas!

  14. Good early evening, sis.

I trust your appointment went well and that Lopez eventually 'did his business.'

It isn't snowing here. We have had no new snow for days. It is actually a couple degrees over freezing now. There wasn't any sun today, though. Or it was hiding ;-)

I went to my daughter's house. All four of them (including Magoo, their dog) loved their gifts. My daughter overdid it with gifts to me, too. She sent me home with loads of lasagne (traditional and chicken) and peanut butter pie.

I am so incredibly blessed. We all are, but don't realize it until we stop and think about all that we have.

It's past time for me to be meditating, so I will do that now. Lucky will probably wake up and come out of the bedroom closed when he hears the music.

I'll be back later, Lynda. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
