We are ALL works in Progress....

Good Day--It is Wednesday, February 25--It snowed all night--3 more ft. of snow all over the place--plus on the car--I did some shovelling last night , before bed, and called the 2 "shovel boys" this AM who did a fantastic job on the driveway and the dog yard--Now if the snow would only stop falling--Wishful thinking!---more good news is-- we are almost into March--and hopefully the snow will stop falling.

Are you happy??--or---  Are you feeling anxious?----It would help  if  we could see green grass--  birds--Hummingbirds--Robins--and feel warmth from the sun.

Remember, the happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.--and don't bother closing the barn door after the horse has run out-- and, you can feel younger longer than you are young--There is even something good about bad luck : it can change.

Blasts from the Past--below---the Pilot, with his friend, another Pilot--

and below-our daughter with Sophia and her husband-

This afternoon, Sushi has an appointment at the vet---That should be interesting- I think her shots need to be brought up to date--If you remember, I found Sushi, long ago,--Her  Mom and brother had been killed and she was left to forge for food--was eating bird seed at out bird  feeder--and was quite wild--lived under Fred's side of our bed for about 4 months--was
Feral---took almost a year to  get the "wild" out of her--Now she sleeps on my bed every night--

So---  I hope that your day goes well--that you are happy--AND STRONG--We must feel strong--that we CAN do whatever needs to be done--
Remember---

  2. It's Kathy. Yes, we are all works in progress! I'm so sorry more snow has fallen - and that's a lot of snow. We've been so lucky this year although yesterday we had freezing rain falling from the sky. I tried to go to the gym, sliding everywhere (it's only 1 mile away) and I arrived in their parking lot only to have it be sheer ice. No way I was going to take a chance on walking all the way to the door - so I went back home and was grateful I made it! Today we have sunshine but it's cold! I feel so much better when the sun is shining, but yes, I am so very ready for Spring. For the birds to sing, and the ducks and geese to return, and the flowers to poke their heads through the dirt! I'm very glad it's March soon. Love the photos - isn't it fun to remember! I'm glad the boys did a good job of shoveling for you! Have a good day!

  3. Good afternoon, Lynda! It is 44 in Ohio and windy with snow on the ground. The sun comes and goes so that is helpful. I was Sadie all morning. How is your day going? How did Sushi do at the vet? Didn’t she go just recently? Sending hugs to you!

  4. Hi Lynda, pleased to hear you called the SNOW boys and that they did an excellent job. I hope that the snow stops falling at your place. Spring is not far away, so hang in there.

  5. Ugh! I don't know how you put up with all that snow! Clearing off your car in the evening, shoveling, and then having to do it all again! I am happy that you have the 2 boys to call to help! Sure saves a lot on the back muscles. I am with you 100 percent in looking forward to March and warmer weather! Spring can''t get here soon enough! So happy that Sushi found a home with you and Fred....you were a blessing to her and now she is your evening bed companion.....so sweet! My cats take turns sleeping on the other side of the bed....sometimes both of them, but usually one or the other.....so funny how animals have their routines...just like us!

  6. 3 more feet of snow! OMG! Glad you got your shovel boys to work! PHEW. That’s a lot to clear.

LOVE the blasts from the past.

Hope Sushi does well @ the vets. I remember the saga of rescuing Sushi. You did such a good job.

Definitely all works in progress. That’s why we have a brand new day to work on ourselves!

    hugs and blessings

  7. Hi Lynda, that sucks, all that snow. YUCK!

Today, I went to work and got the BEST news - that girl who drove me crazy QUIT! Hallelujah! There IS a God! So I was just able to work in peace without speaking to a soul other than hi and goodbye!

I DO hope that nasty snow QUITS for you pretty soon, though I looked at your forecast and it doesn't look good. Ours, on the other hand, is wintry mixes and showers for the next 7 or so days, which sounds also hideous!

  8. So much snow ❄️! Ours from last week is not quite gone yet, but enough of it is for me to take Ember out for a leash walk this afternoon
We have had two days in a row of 50° or better. I hope it gets to your neck of the woods soon
    Meanwhile, stay strong!
