Sunny smiles with happy thoughts!

 It is Sunday, February the 15th--dark outside--minus 3 --and --"NOT" snowing--yet!--and-- it doesn't look like we will get snow to-day--at least , I hope not!--Lopez, Sushi, and I are up--I shall return in a bit--must get the washer going--and yes, I wish you  sunny smiles and happy thoughts!

a brand new day ---so much goes on in one day--and we are a part of it!--Vow to live fully in each moment----Promise little and do much--  and kindness brings happiness--Forgive your friends--and, the most wasted days are those in which we have not laughed.

Son #2, the Pilot is out in Vancouver--probably will fly back to Toronto to-day--hard to think that this large aircraft will be airborne-

-and below, is our daughters 2 children--Sophia and Jacob-- Sophia will be entering her first year at Kent State University this fall, in
Ohio.
            `````and Miss Emma--now at University--2nd year--
                            "Tempus Fugit"--Time flies---
All our Grandchildren are older-- away at school--Our lives are not long enough are they??--So, we must make the most of everyday--
                                        Live out Loud!  --and----
                        Remember--Your best friend is yourself-
  2. Good Morning Lynda,
    Here's hoping you have a snow free day today.
    We have rain, but it's supposed to stop about mid afternoon and it's in the 40's now but may hit low 50's. I'm not holding my breath. It's dreary and no sun, so we will see.
    Busy day for me, I have laundry, a big workout and getting dinner together. And the week begins.........................
    As always, I enjoy the pictures you post.
    Wishing you, Lopez, and Sushi the Best Day!
    Hugs,
    Jackie
  3. You are so right! Where does the time go? Three of my seven grandkids are now in College (University).....seems like just yesterday they were babies! Will be going to a birthday party for another one of my grands....he will be 15! Very tall, handsome young man who is a freshman in high school and cannot wait to get his driver's license! Oh my! Your son's plane does look enormous and it is so awesome that he gets to fly it so many places! Hope you have a great Sunday!
  4. Good morning, sis.
    It's mostly sunny here. The temp is currently 27F, but it's due to be toF!
    Yes, our grandchildren grow up too quickly, just as our own children did. One of my granddaughters is in pre-med at a large university, my oldest grandson is studying to be an engineer. Your photos of them are precious!
    I want to wash clothes today, too. First I have to clean my kitchen and get garbage and recycles out.
    Have you been following the Olympics? These athletes astound me. I cannot fathom moving my body like they do...even when I was 16!
    I'd better get busy, Lynda. I'll come back later, too, as always. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
  6. Good morning Lynda, I hope the snow stays away from your area for awhile. That plane that Matt flies is enormous. You sound very chipper today. We're suppose to get very heavy rain tomorrow. We need it, but when so much falls at once, the people that live in the areas where there's been wildfires are prone to mudslides and such. I hope your day continues to go well.
  8. LOL! You are mixing up the two sisters who can't look in a mirror! ALICIA363 is my baby sister, and it was I who talked you through the ropes of blogging, way back when. She sometimes has trouble posting comments, but I know she's lurking and reading everything you post!
    I, too, love the photos of the grands, and appreciate seeing Son#2's plane. Glad to know the character of those who keep us safe in the skies!
    hugs and grins,
  9. Hi Lynda, it's Kathy. Yes, time really does fly by. My youngest grandchildren are already 7 and 6 - and it feels like they were just born. My oldest, and only, granddaughter is 19 and in her 2nd year of College. It seems like just yesterday I was holding that little newborn! I hope you're having a good day! I love the photos, and yes, that is a very big airplane! Son #2 must be very skilled!!! We are having some pre-spring weather but it's going to return to winter later this week! So I'm enjoying it while I can.
  10. Hi, it's Marti, and I had a very chaotic, but fun, time with my friend and her two 9 yr old boys that she was caring for, yesterday afternoon. The one child that she mainly cares for is a good child, but his cousin was acting very ADHD and they kept running in and out of my 2nd bedroom, bored, and there was plenty of things that they could do, they just couldn't focus on just one. What a whirlwind, when one is not used to children and lives alone! Like a cyclone that hit here and then boom, gone. But I'm not complaining. I rarely have company. We ate out beforehand, at Texas Roadhouse. Good food!
    Enjoy the rest of your day!
    Marti
