What nature delivers to us is never stale. Because what nature creates has eternity in it.

DeleteBrrr! We have a slight coating of snow this morning and strong howling winds, but nothing like the blizzard you are experiencing! Your poor car! Buried under! Yikes! I am supposed to volunteer at the assisted living facility here in town, but I am not sure if I want to travel out in the freezing cold and terrible wind....we shall see. And Happy St. Patrick's Day early! I am fixing corned beef and cabbage for friends tomorrow and today I am making the dessert - a Guiness Chocolate Cake! Found the recipe online and it actually takes a cup of Guiness beer! It says it is really chocolatey! We shall see! Stay warm and safe today!
ReplyDeleteYes Sandra--my poor car--buried in snow-- We used to have a garage-- We used to have a lot of things I guess-=-and I do miss a lot of what we had-but--life goes on I guess--Lynda
DeleteMorning Lynda,
ReplyDeleteYikes! That's a lot of snow. Doesn't look like you will heading out anywhere today. Poor Lopez has to go out to do his business in that. He might get lost in a snow drift. :-(
We don't have snow but we have temperatures in the 30's F and howling strong winds. Not looking forward to going out but I need to grocery shop today.
Stay safe and warm inside today and hope your power doesn't go out.
Hugs,
Jackie
It was a lot of snow-- We need summer--Lynda
DeleteGood morning, sis. And it is. There is something, always, to be happy about.
ReplyDeleteOur storm finally ended. It's sunny outside, but only 2F.
I am about to leave to take 'Becca for her surgery. I thought I'd check in here first. I am glad I did.
I hope your snow boys are available. Probably school is cancelled today for them. Your car is almost buried!
The photos are great! Hannah is all grown up. It's great to see her with her uncle and you and Fred.
I hope to get something done here...taxes...while I wait for the call to pick 'Becca up. They may keep her overnight. Hopefully this time they get all the kidney stones.
Keep on truckin.' Remember that old saying?
{{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Yes I do remember "Keep on Trucking""-- Lynda
DeleteGood morning Lynda, I am so sorry that you have to deal with such a severe snow storm. There are several severe heat warnings where I live. Tomorrow will be 98 degrees. I'm glad that I do not have to go anywhere. The weather we're having this week is breaking all records. I hope there is a vast improvement for you for next week's travel for your eye exam. Is it one of your sons who will be driving you? Great photo of you and Fred, a son and two grandchildren. Of course all of the photos that you shared are delightful.
ReplyDeleteMaureen from California
Maureen-- In your part of the world it is 98 degrees??--Holy Cow--I cannot imagine!! Lynda
DeleteThe eye exam is on the 24th and son#1is going to drive me--Lynda
DeleteStay safe in that storm! Monday morning we woke to "single digit temperatures" which is unusual for mid-March! Brrrr! Ember the labrador went out solo to take care of business because her hu-mom (me) was too cold. Nevertheless, we went through our normal morning routine. The snow we got on Sunday pretty much blew off the hard surfaces, but it clings to the grass and the deck. Oh, well. Tomorrow it will melt!
ReplyDeleteStay safe, my friend!
This was a bad storm-- I had to call the SNOW BOYS to clear the driveway-- Spring sure sounds good eh?--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. That's what our world looked like yesterday. It was blowing so hard that the drifts were really high. We were really lucky - the snow was much deeper to the south of us. The snow plows destroyed our mailbox and it's too cold right now for Tom to be able to fix it. So the post office will have to hold our mail until things warm up again. Please stay safe while your storm rages on. Neither of us left the house yesterday! Take care.
ReplyDeleteIt was a very bad snow storm--My driveway was full of snow--Hope winter ends soon--Lynda
DeleteKathy--We got a ton of snow--Lynda
