Be kind--Be gentle!

Good Morning--
It seems cool-ish--a bit of a breeze blowing--and Me thinks that rain might be in the forecast. It is 6-47 am  right now--Lopez is fed---so is  Sushi-- I have coffee here--had juice with the multitudes of pills--There seems to be more and more pills, as I get older and older--

Last night, Son#2 and I tried "Uber Eats"--  It worked!--Exactly when they said that the Swiss Chalet meal would be delivered--  the doorbell rang, and there was the "Uber Eats " guy--It was like a miracle!
Have any of you ever tried  that "AP" on your phone? Hopefully, when I get settled in "the townhouse", I can do some cooking--

Well, it does seem like summer doesn't it? I believe when I return to Elliot Lake--and I see the lake again, yes , it definitely will seem like summer--and I miss the Hummingbirds--Hopefully I can retrieve my stick that Himself made for me, with that nail on the end, which could reach up and hang each feeder.-I will have to go back to our old home, and hopefully will find my stick.

Summer--It is here!--less clothes--gardening--sitting on a dock-- swimming---  Will I ever have time to do all that when I return to where I belong?-- I feel a bit like "Winnie the Pooh" you know----  like--- " I am in the wrong place---"----I must return to the right place-- I have misplaced my town--one more month----  not even a whole month---  The picture below shows  you what  I need to do--wade thru the  lake--  the water-----I really am a child of the North--

So here is Miss Sushi-- the cat who came in from the cold--the cat who now sleeps on Himself's side of the bed---She never used to-----  funny how pets seem to try to keep one happy--this cat who adopted himself immediately once she moved into our home.

a blast from the past---below---
---- another memory of good times a bit ago---

                                                            How is your day going???-
I hope that you feeling peace, joy, and happiness--Everyone  carries the weight of many lifetimes-and remember, they are doing their best  to find peace and joy and Happiness--

  1. Good morning Lynda,
Another great blog. I always find words of wisdom in your posts. How true that each of us is dealing with "things" and we need to be kind to everyone.
Glad you enjoyed Uber eats. Nice treat when wanting something special. Did you order yourself or did Matt do it?
You are so excited to be going home. Im happy for you.
Instead of a celebration of life, perhaps an open house at the Lodge to dedicate the bench? Anyone from EL could stop in and talk with you and the kids. It could help you to really realize what an impact Fred had serving others and how much he was loved.
I never knew Sushi adopted Fred.
    It's HOT in St.Louis. Close to 100F.
    Enjoy this day. Stay positive.
    Hugs
    Marge

  2. Good morning, Lynda! Finally, it is a beautiful day in Ohio after a couple days of storms and rain. It will be 94 Monday and into the week. Sushi is such a beautiful cat! I’ve seen hummingbirds around my rhododendrons. I am glad the food delivery went well. Never tried it. Not long until your move and you will be a happy camper. Have a fabulous Friday! Hugs!

  3. Good morning, sis.
It's not raining here, either, but we had storms during the night.
Love your 'blast from the past,' and that last meme.
You have 2 precious pets to cherish, and an exciting time to prepare for. Me, too, with now being able to drive. The only issue is that to go into any store, I have to take my walker because the right hip/knee sometimes buckle. I will have to load and unload it myself.
We can do what we must do. AND get out of the crazy and seek some rest and relaxation, too.
Have a great day, Lynda. I will 'see' you later. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  4. Good Morning Lynda,
We are going to have a nice sunny day here in the Cincinnati area and no rain for a while but it's going to get really hot and humid in the next few days.
It won't be long now before you will be on the move again. Sushi sounds like she's a sweetie. Lopez too. Pets are great companions to help us through all the stuff in our lives.
Hope your Friday is a good one!

  5. It's Kathy. I believe there will always be a place missing in your heart - the place where himself was. But I also believe that one day you will see him again. My dad has been gone for 22 years this summer but I still tear up when I think about him - he was my safe place and always will be! It's going to be very hot here beginning this afternoon and lasting until sometime Monday - yuck! So Daisy and I are going to get out and do some weeding in the shade before the shade is gone! Have a good day!

  6. Lovely memes today! LOVE the photo of Sushi, the cat who came in from the cold. It seems like just yesterday you rescued poor Sushi!

You'll feel more @ peace when you're back where you belong.

  7. Hi Lynda: I moved to Parry Sound for about 6 years after my partner died as my brother was gong to move up there when he retired but he died 3 months before retirement. I moved back to the city as soon as that happened, You see I am the opposite to you - a "city girl" not a country girl. So I can see how you feel when you're in a different environment. Hope all works out for you when you move back to EL. And hope son #2 is not ticked off about you leaving his area so soon. Hugs Brenda
