a new day -and---We shall get it right-We have sunshine --and lollipops---so yes, hold onto your favourite people----It is a brand new day---
I have changed the bed---(It is Sunday)--The sheets are still in the dryer--Lopez and I have walked--but, we need another walk--We "hoofed it"--- (Dad's expression)-up the trail---which is paved, and we ment every Tom, Dick , and Harry, with their pooches-- Lopez does not bark as viciously at the dogs anymore--He is learning that they do not bark at him---so why does he feel he must bark at them?--These little Chihuahuas, think they are big guard dogs ---
So good morning to you all! How is your day going?--Are you happy to-day??--
You are fortunate if you are able to stay home, choosing how to spend your time and just doing you....There is a warm and fuzzy feeling to being content to be in your own home--Yesterday I went for groceries, put them away and also was able to get into Peterborough to the Lab there for blood work--There is such a lack of Doctors here in Canada now, that it seems to affect all hospital services--so the wait time for these Lab services was very long-- To-day I do appreciate time spent here at home.
So it is Sunday-- -----Are you putting on your best "Bib and Tucker" and heading off to church??--
We all need to be proud of winning all the silent battles we have won-!
Good Morning Lynda!
ReplyDeleteSounds like Lopez is starting to be quite the little gentleman not barking at all the other dogs. Did he do well by himself when you were gone yesterday?
Hope you get good news on your blood work. Maybe more Doctors will head north from the states with all the craziness going on here.
Anyway, have a good day!
Jackie
Hi Jackie--Yes we sure need more Doctors here in Canada-- I have a Doctor in Elliot but not a Doctor here--Lynda
DeleteGood morning, sis. I wondered why there were no comments on the previous blog you wrote...you were just busy, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI'm busy, too. Tried to clean the kitchen floor. It's getting easier to bend over. Now it's the litter box and the bathroom floor.
I'm waiting for the therapy people to call me as to when they are coming. It's supposed to be today! I asked to be called before lunch as I nap in the afternoon. It's not quite 10 here, so I have a couple hours left.
I'm glad that Lopez is becoming more sociable. Does he ever try to play with other dogs?
Hope your thyroid test is read and results given to you sooner rather than later.
It's already in the 70sF here, a mix of sun and clouds. It's supposed to get lots warmer as the day goes on.
The pain gets a tiny bit less every day and moving around easier, too.
I can't drive yet for 20 days. 'They' want me to wait 6 weeks. It is amazing to me that so much time has already passed since my surgery.
Waiting for good stuff to happen is hard sometimes. I just think of other stuff that makes me happy. Sometimes that is harder than others.
Love the memes, as always.
Wish you had more doctors and pharmacies there. Medical care is so important...more so at our ages.
On to chores. The more I move around, the better it is for me. I'll check back later. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
I try to get to them everyday but sometimes the day just falls apart--but--the best part--yu are doing well--That was a bad fall yu had for sure!---- Yes waiting for good stuff to happen is hard--I wish there was no DR shortage here also--messes up the tests that are supposed to be done-- Yu sound better everytime yu write-- Hugs,Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda, it's Kathy. We have decided not to go to church today. They have changed to their summer hours and it starts at 9 am - although I was up in time it felt good to just relax! It's been a challenging week. Daisy feels more herself every day. In a little while Tom and I are taking her to a park so we can all get a short walk in. It's a beautiful day but going to get very warm by this afternoon. Other than the walk, we will all be at home the rest of the day and yes, that makes me happy! I hope you have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteKathy What happened to Daisy??--Is she OK???--- Nice weather now ------- busy with the next move--LOL-- Hugs, Lynda
DeleteDoctors are already leaving the U.S. for Canada ( I read an article about it yesterday) . so that should help you out. We have shortages here too, takes forever to get in to see specialists and to have some tests done, and apparently that is just going to get worse.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday. I still own my house, so have spent the morning trying to do some yard work, which gets harder to do as I age.
Susan/Colorado
Susan what do yu mean that yu still own yer house?? Yes it takes forever to see a Dr here in Canada now--Nice of the US to ship some Drs here--We need them--LOL--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda, doctor's are in short supply here too. A specialist is a minimum 6 month wait for an appointment. You can more easily be seen by the doctor's physician assistant.
ReplyDeleteSunny and high 80sF here. Going to 90sF tomorrow. Too drastic of a change.
I've been mopping and cleaning my screened in porch for hours. It's so dirty out there. I also trimmed a couple of bushes.
Great inserts.
Sadie cleaned the house this morning before church. I'm tired now lol
Have a great day. Hope your test results turn out well.
Big hugs and love
Marge,/St.Louis
Yu have a shortage of Drs also??--Wow--6 mos to see a specialist--not right is it??--Lotza love to yu too Marge-Lynda
DeleteOur health services are in disarray, too. Takes forever to get appointments, especially w/specialists.
ReplyDeleteGlad you and Lopez got out.
hugs

Barb same here--thought it wud be better there but no eh?--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda! It is sunny in Ohio! Sipping iced coffee with the windows open with a nice breeze. Wish people were not mowing. They are retired so why Sunday? Oh well! Yes, little dog syndrome is real! My yorkies are the same way. We have been smelling the Canada wild fires here. Not bad but still I feel terrible about these fires. How are you doing today? Hope your labs are good! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteso so many fires out west in Canada-- and yu all get the drifts- of smoke--terrible-- Lynda-
DeleteI wonder if Allison can smell them? I am only 40 minutes South of her.
