Good morning-- My family --some of them leave to-day-- I shall miss them so much--- We have eaten meals together--and laughed so much together--- In the picture below , on the far rt., is my younger brother with his wife and dog-- Beside me , is my cousin-- My Dad's oldest brother's , son-- We enjoyed being together--SO SO much--I am going to miss them all--- and I appreciated them taking their time, to spend with me!Below, on the far left , is my older cousin, Doug---- Beside me , my sister in law--- taken yesterday--The picture below , is my nephew who drove over here to say hello--and we all went out for dinner--So--as you see, it was a busy time--but so so much fun-- - and as you can see, people just want to be together--We grew up together, visiting Grampa in Port Perry and running around like HOOLIGANS at his house--- We were all cousins, who now have aged--descendants of a "Scottish" clan --immigrants from Scotland to Southern Ontario---
AND_--THAT IS WHY THERE WAS NO BLOG YESTERDAY--- I had to say good bye to them all--my family--I hope that I hear from you all to-day-- I need to hear from you , as I shall miss my family-It will be hard to day good bye to them all---but--WE are strong--aren't we?--
Of course we are!
Good morning, Lynda! What a wonderful time with your great family! You needed that. Good for the soul, indeed. I have seen a hummingbird twice this week and thought of you. No feeders, just flowers. It is nice in Ohio today but rain for a few days starting tomorrow. Have a super Saturday. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLovely outside here this AM too-- Yes please feed those Hummingbirds -They must miss all the feeders I had by the kitchen widow in Elliot -Lynda
DeleteI am sure they do miss your feeders but you will feed them again very soon. Yay!
DeleteHow wonderful it is that your relatives came to visit and spend precious time with you💝 Carol in FL
ReplyDeleteCarol I loved having family visit--Lynda
DeleteMorning Lynda,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a wonderful time visiting and catching up with family. Thanks for sharing the pictures, it looks like fun was had by all.
Jackie
It certainly was fun-- Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I'm so glad you had such a nice time with your family! Loved all the photos! Tom and I spent the afternoon with Roman and Jake yesterday and it actually went quite well. Both boys are on the Autism Scale and they're a bit more active than I can usually tolerate. But as they are getting older and more able to express themselves, it was very nice! I enjoyed spending time with them - even Daisy had a pretty good time! Enjoy your day today!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have family come visit! I don't have visitors here, just my bf John who visits every other weekend, but no one else. It's fun when you have visitors! And yes, it's hard to say goodbye to them. I remember wonderful times as a child when my grandmother would come visit, and how happy I was, and sad to see her go!
ReplyDeleteMarti
It's Marge and it's still raining in St.Louis...actually storms with heavy rain. One day the sun will return.
ReplyDeleteLoved the family pictures. How wonderful that they came from the states to visit with you. It is sad when they leave but now you have more good memories and pictures to remember your wonderful visit.
You are Awesome ever day!!
Big hugs and love.
Awwww, how lovely that you were able to spend time w/your family! That is always uplifting.
ReplyDeleteAnd no better reason NOT to have blogged. Family time is absolutely precious.
HUGS and have a great weekend.

Time with family that live away is always good; I still drive over to see my aunt, uncle and cousins in New Mexico; he's my only uncle left.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you got time to spend with you family. I'm glad you laughed and had a good time. These are precious memories to have and rejoice in. It was good that the weather held up for you. We had a warm and sunshine today. Was nice to get nice outside for a while today.
ReplyDeleteYes, sis. We ARE strong. We prove it by getting through the challenges we have day by day. By remembering and using our strengths and trying to dwell on the good rather than its opposite.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos. Family is SO important. I wonder how the dogs got along.
I had a good day, too. Managed a couple chores, went out with Rebecca driving and me in the passenger seat (2 weeks from today I can drive again), had a nice nap and a great supper.
Remember the joy and happy moments you had with your family and look forward to seeing them again.
{{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Great having all those relatives visit you. Will you see them again in Elliott Lake? Hugs Brenda
