Get your Happy on!

We have sunshine--- smoke in the air---  but--WE ARE ALIVE!
Lopez and I are going to the pet store for 9am, as the lady there will trim his nails--I miss son #3  doing his nails--I tried  last week to get them trimmed but the Lady who does it was not working--Hopefully she will be there this AM--
I have a beautiful house trailer to live in, in Elliot Lake, the last week of July--You see, I cannot move into the townhouse I rented,  till,  August1st--The people in there now move out  the end of June---It is cleaned and painted in July, ready for me to move in , in August-- SO THE TIME IS COMING CLOSER!! --so exciting!--
--I must get the wee dog  over to the pet store, but I shall return and finish this blog--  Hope you all are getting up--ready to face this new day--

Lordy Be it is already 5pm---  Lopez and I made it to the pet store where this fabulous Lady cut his very long nails--They must feel so much better  for him--I give her $20 and she trims his nails so fast--I did not get to the grocery store to-day , so will do that early in the morning tomorrow----  This afternoon, Son#2 and I drove to his cottage--

I will be SO SO SO SO happy to get back home to Elliot Lake-----the last week in July, I finally will be home----into the townhouse August 1st--

Below--a "Blast from the Past""--Son #2 with his daughter -when she was a lot younger--now is finished her University courses--
I am sorry this blog was so  late completing----but--better late than never I guess--

I hope that your day was happy---  Whatever makes your weird little heart happy , is what counts--Sometimes, just a wee walk helps to keep us happy--  saying hello to people and animals you might meet on your walk-- --and then returning home, to  a blog that is finally finished---- ---
YES--  Get your Happy on  Girl!!

  1. Good afternoon, sis. It's okay that it's late...at least you blogged for us.
Didn't see comments on yesterday's...guess you don't always have time or think of that.
Happy for Lopez. Lots of ladies want their nails long, but doggies do not
You went to your son's cottage. That's great. He lives nearby...maybe in the same complex. Is that right?
My wallet has been missing. This apartment is not that big. Have no idea where it is. Today (with Rebecca driving) I got a new bank card and went to get a new dirver's license. Other stuff I had to send for replacements by phone or online.
The day seems to be ending better than it started (that was with kitty throw-up).
I will try contacting JoAnne now. Hopefully, they will have the phone where she can reach it. Then I will check back here end of day again. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  2. Hi Lynda! Sunny and beautiful in Ohio. It’s been a hectic day with an ant problem and a broken package in the mail that cannot be replaced. So great Lopez got his nails done. Kloi and Tommy got groomed last week and Kloi went to the vet Monday with a broken tooth that caused a bad infection. It’s been a crazy week. Yes, you will be moving soon. Yippee! Hugs!

  5. It's Kathy. I'm glad I checked one more time before I logged off for the night. Sounds like you had a productive and busy day! We try to clip Daisy's nails but it sure is hard - she hates everything about grooming. She goes in for her after surgery check up tomorrow. Maybe then she can have her favorite treat - a chicken rawhide! I really wanted to work in the gardens today but it started raining when I got home from the gym and didn't stop! Hopefully tomorrow.
