It's a new day--Live it up, Laugh it off---

a brand new day-----Zowey!___It is cool---not much sun--but--the best part---  WE ARE A PART OF TO_DAY!---and----  if you are already up, your day has begun!---So, get on your best Bib and Tucker, (Dad's expression)--and get going!--- It is cool, so you might need a sweater--

Lopez is up--so is Sushi. the cat who came on from the cold--You know, she sleeps with me every night now --sometimes "ON" me---She likes the apartment here, and I know she will enjoy the new townhouse, after we move, as it has 2 floors--

Are you feeling strong this morning?--It seems like a day that we must feel strong and hope that no matter what happens, the world is unfolding the way it should. Sometimes when you turn on the news  one does wonder how on earth we are going to get thru all  the events you hear on the TV --  but---  you know we do-- in some fashion--

Exercise elevates us---using our hands --maybe gardening-- walking a pooch--- and just continuing to sparkle---and we "DO"-that!---- Have Faith---Staying Positive----
I will pack a few boxes to-day--maybe the "winter wear"  will get boxed up and ready to go--Groceries were a priority yesterday--

--a new pic of a "Blast from the Past"--(somehow the pic I meant to post, never arrived!)---but --this one is pretty special, anyway--
Son #2 , the Pilot- with one of our cats--Jemima I think!--   beside him, pointing the cap gun, is son#4, and beside  son#4, is son#3, making a face----kinda a funny picture, but a great one to look back on now--
("How did I ever raise 5 children, AND A CAT--?" -I ask myself now, as I look back  at this picture--)

---  Get out there and face to-day--
Live it up--Laugh it off--
Never have regrets--
Because, it is a new day and here we are-a part of it!

  1. Good morning, Lynda! Cloudy in Ohio and it’s going to be a rainy weekend. I am trying to get going but my tinnitus is making me crazy today! Yes, I remember Sushi coming in from the cold. I bet she will like your new place with another level to hide if she wants. I don’t see the pic of the son with broken arm. That was terrible it happened at school. Don’t work too hard packing and enjoy your day. Hugs!

  2. Hi Lynda, continue to Sparkle.
No sparkle in St.Louis as it is raining very hard AGAIN. Predicting rain all weekend.
Pack away dear lady. Don't forget to purge as you go. You may have less closets???? and, if you haven't worn it, or used it...donate it. Be sure you want to take it along. Purging feels good...it really does..try it lol. Think simplify your life so you'll have more time to play and go out with widows group. Don't make the same mistake as last time...taking too much with you.
    Thanks for the upbeat message.
Raising 4 boys and 1 girl..you earned a gold medal.
    Carry on with purge/pack.
    Hugs and blessings

  3. It's Kathy. It's raining here - will be pretty much all day. A good day to clean the house but I sure would rather sit down and read! Maybe I'll do that first. Daisy is lying in my doorway snoring away - she does not like the rain! Great photo of the 3 boys. There are days when I wish my children were still that age. Have a good day!

  7. Good morning, sis. I don't see the photo, either. Did it happen on the playground? Broken bones are sure not fun!
Packing will give you visions of your new home. It's hard, but you can do it a bit at a time.
Love the memes! I don't have many plans today...just more work on the closed. Still haven't found anyone to lower that top shelf so I can reach it.
Sushi is adorable. You probably save her life and made it a good one.
Time for breakfast and morning meds now. I'll check back later. Maybe I will see that photo on someone's commend from you.
    {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
