Hi Lynda
ReplyDeleteRaining in St.Louis AGAIN. Yesterday we had strong thunderstorms that dropped a FOOT of rain....of course that caused flash flooding. Crazy weather.
How lovely that your brother came to visit.
Stay strong.
Good luck with blood test. I'm so grateful for Matt's flexibility to drive you and his very caring nature.
Loved the pictures from the past.
Have a blessed day.
Hugs and love
Marge/St.Louis
.
yes it was an amazing day yesterday--=love having my brother and his wife-- Lynda
DeleteGood Thursday Morning, Lynda!
ReplyDeleteHope they are able to get your thyroid medication figured out. That must be frustrating. Hang in there!
Hope you are enjoying your visit with your brother, how nice you are able to get together.
Enjoyed the pictures you posted.
Have a great day!
Jackie
Jackie--It is so so nice o have family visit--Lynda
DeleteLOL! Getting older makes us stronger in many ways, even when our bodies start to wear out! I do hope they get that medication figured out. The only time I had trouble was when he tried to "adjust" my dosage... that experiment lasted about 3 months before they had to change it back!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynda, Maybe I am mistaken. I thought you mentioned having one of those pedal things that one can use sitting down. Anyhow, I am so happy you are posting these uplifting things. Thank much. Donna_cps2 Chicago area
ReplyDeleteDonna--Yes Fred had that pedal thing--and he loved it--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I love the photos! So many good memories. Daisy and I have already been out to work in the garden - I have just one tiny patch left but it got too hot. Maybe later this afternoon I can finish. My plants have arrived, one was broken in transit. My favorite tomato plant. I need Tom to put up the fencing so I can plant them - don't want the bunnies to eat my plants! We have so many rabbits in our yard! Too much brush and places for them to hide - no one around us takes care of their yards! I'm glad your brother and his wife are visiting - it's nice to see family! I'm glad Son #2 can drive you to get your blood work done. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteI live on RABBIT Street here--and Kathy right now there are young baby rabbits all over--Lynda
DeleteYou're right, sis. We hafta be strong...sometimes with help to do it.
ReplyDeleteSynthroid trouble? Me, too. Another thing we have in common.
It's great your brother and sister-in-law are there. Family is important and fun to be around.
I've been getting things straightened up around here...Lucky's feeding station and potty area, garbage/recyclables, clutter, etc...as a physical therapy guy is coming in around an hour to access me. Ha! I am convinced that (with proper pain relief drugs), I can do anything!
Enjoy your day, Lynda. Almost lunch time here. Maybe you guys will go out? Or will you make something...like tuna sandwiches?
The weather here is brighter...a slightly hazy sun and warmer.
The weather app says temps will drop Monday. I'm not concerned about that. Just as long as it doesn't get too cold. They have turned our boilers off for the summer, so we can't turn heat on in our apartments.
Checking later...{{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Everyone leaves to-day--so I guess I shall begin to pack up stuff--I will miss everyone so much--Nice of them all to come ---- Sorry about your heat being turned off-- That isnt right-- Hugs Maggie, Lynda
DeleteWe're supposed to get to 81F today, sunny. Low was 57F. It's the time of year I need to walk very early in the morning or on the walking track at my gym. This morning was the park at about 7am; I need to start going at 6:30 to beat the strong sun.
ReplyDeleteHopefully they the medication correctly adjusted. That may be in my future; they're watching my levels. I'm glad I beat it this far.
They are still trying to adjust the Synthroid--Once they mess with that it takers forever to get it back onto the right dose-Lynda
DeleteIt is a grey and rainy day here in MI today. We needed the rain, as it washed the smoke away from the wild fires in Canada. Yesterday, we were at 90 degrees and today we are now sitting at 64 degrees. I'm glad that your brother and sister in law are over. It is always nice to visit with family, especially when you haven't seen them in a while. Hope you have a wonderful day today with family and I hope they figure out your medication soon.
ReplyDeleteYes--smoky here too-- the fires in Canada are bad irght now--not around here but out west they continue to burn--Lynda
DeleteAlways love to read your uplifting posters!! Have a great evening.
ReplyDeleteDonna from Chicago area
Oh Donna --I get a laugh out of them also--Lynda
DeleteHi! I only have half a thyroid, b/c there was a cyst a long time ago and they removed 1/2 of the thyroid. I've been on Synthroid for years, but it's always stable, they never change the dosage.
ReplyDeleteAfter work, I had an early dinner with a neighbor lady across the street that I don't know too well, other than to say hi, in her 80's, and she used to go to high school with my close neighbor lady who lives across the drive from me, also in her 80's, so we all three went out to Bob Evans, and then went in her condo and visited awhile. Nice time! She has a nice doggo, a Shi Tzu named Allie. Everybody is very nice here in the condo community, but they all do skew about 20 years older than me, and sometimes it's hard to make a connection.
Marti
Whoops, I think you spell that Shih Tzu. Marti
DeleteToo bad they adjusted the dose of the Thyroid med--It was a new Dr who dooes'nt know any better--Lynda
