Thank-you for being "YOU"-!

Good morning--  Of course we persevere--because we are relentless--We persist and WE KEEP GOING!

It is beginning to look like a sunny day--perhaps another hot and muggy day developing-
-I am going to get Lopez , the Chihuahua , outside--then will return and finish this blog--

We had another wee walk--Lopez and I, and  he did NOT do his business--so, that means ANOTHER walk  soon--LORDY BE!
I have been packing boxes--  The movers will pack most things, but I thought I could do a bit while I wait. I have no idea how on earth I will ever unpack all this stuff , at the other end--but--I guess I have a lifetime to do it!---  Moving is not fun----  but staying here is not going to happen.--

So, here are a few "blasts from the past"--Below is our daughter with old Santa Claus--one Christmas long ago--
Our daughters 2 children--many moons ago--
                                                Grandchildren having lunch at Grammas
Our 5 children --Son#2 holding  Baby Tim--taken at a condo in Florida

Below is Tim--- the baby (I think)--but--It could be Ethan, Tim's son--  (I'm not sure!)

Canada Day to-morrow--a National Holiday--  Fireworks ---if I were back in Elliot Lake--
Elliot Lake will be my home--forever and forever--soon!----

So, "Strong" is the magic word to-day--
                                                                        REMEMBER___
                                                                You are so important--
                                                                    You can be brave---
                                                            You can say "no"--or "yes"

                                                            Thank-you for being "YOU"!

  2. It's Kathy. I'm glad to know I'm not the only person who can't quite remember who the child in the photo is. My young ones looked so much alike when they were so small. And my Lauriellen looked exactly like my sister when she was growing up! We have sunshine but it rained early this morning. Too wet outside to get any work done - maybe later this afternoon. I'm very disappointed in my gardening - weeds are growing faster than the plants! I think this might be my last year - too much work. We have Farmers' Markets all around us - maybe a better option. Let the professionals grow the food! Have a nice day - we've off to get some groceries soon.

  3. You pack up the stuff you don;t need. Then when you get there, you start with the boxes they paced, which is the stuff you need right away LOL and get to the other stuff later. Try to declutter some more and take back less than you brought!
