Chaos is part of life isn't it?

YOU ARE AMAZING! ----  YOU CAN HANDLE EVERYTHING!!

----justa reminder--in case you forgot!--I know that we all have a lot going on right now--but, think about it----"YOU" CAN---- HANDLE EVERYTHING---It might take a bit of time to figure something out--but--when you did, ----""YOU" did whatever--Sitting on ,my computer, is a requisition for blood work--- and I will make an appointment and get there--but, I have to take that requisition with me--Lord love a Duck eh?---  So, how do I get the printer to work here?----It used to work just fine--but--after that big move,  plus a new computer--how to get it to work now?-- BUT----- after a few tries--I DID IT!--It took some deep thoughts , on my part--(no Son#2 to help me )--

There is so so much technology now isn't there?---PLUS----There is so much going on in our house these days--  new appliances--lotza house work--and usually only "US" to figure stuff out--kinda drives one crazy--My own Mother never had to deal with all this technology-----and now, here we are--stuck in a home--alone--and we have to keep the house "gpoing" because after  all the machines get going, out we have to go to weed a garden or clear the driveway of snow--  THERE IS ONLY US!!---Kinda scare-y isn't it?--But, you know, if we keep our head on our shoulders--the "ROYAL WE"" can do most of the stuff--sorta---after all, our mind  is  still active-- and its so important to try-- Mom used to say,

"Patience is a virtue, possess it  if you can---, it's often found in women, but never in a man!"-and she would try something again--

So, I have 3 dogs now looking at me-Son#3's 2 dogs are in my tint house here--and they constantly stare at me, wandering what on earth happened to their own Mom and Dad
                                                                        Here is Lola--
and Apollo---
and of course I have Lopez--and Sushi--
I must be crazy--too many pets in this tiny house--but--tis only for a few days--
We were supposed to get frost last night--but didn't --Praise the good Lord!

I guess that life --(the bigger picture)- is happening exactly as it should!--  The problem is, we must understand that "Chaos" is just part of life, isn't it?--

  1. It's Kathy. Way to go, Lynda! Getting your printer connected - figuring it out, staying with it until you did. I'm not sure I'd have the patience to do that. Yes, technology makes everything so much more challenging. My dear husband has to help me pretty much every day with something. I know I'm very dependent on him and I should learn all these things on my own. Like my computer wants to save everything to the Cloud and I DO NOT want that. But it keeps coming back. Tom has fixed it for me several days! So frustrating. Have a wonderful day today!

  2. Good morning Lynda
    Great blog and inserts.
Wow girl...I'm so impressed you got the printer going YOURSELF!! WOOT. Good job. Proud of you.
So, can you walk 3 dogs at the same time? At least they are small and not Beau size. Yes, I'm sure they miss their mom and dad. Today might be a great day for the piano to settle the dogs. I do hope you'll play.
Has Sushi ever come downstairs yet? Poor Sushi is really invaded now.
I hope the fur kids don't fight. Lola will keep Lopez in line lol.
Enjoy your chaos. Soon enough it will be calm once again.
Beautiful fall day in St.Louis. Will warm up to 85F later so AC on.
    Hugs and blessings.
    Keep smiling and stay positive.

  3. Ah yes! The bigger picture! I do wish I could see it now. I am mired in boxes and need to shop for so many things that I lost due to the smoke/soot damage! I feel stuck and unmotivated because I can't figure out what to do first. I think maybe I should load the 5 boxes of books into my car as I am donating them to the library and it opens in about 15 minutes...and then there is the weed whacking to do! I started two days ago and had to quit when I could do no more, so maybe getting out and getting some fresh air and sunshine will clear my mind and get me going on all these projects and make me realize that I just need to be happy that I am finally back in my home!

  4. Extra points for configuring the printer to the computer! Not to mention you managed to get that dishwasher to work. And boy, do I agree, so many new things that keep popping up that we have to learn, or else! And speaking of technology....we recently received a wedding invitation that included just the date of the wedding and a QR code to link to the RSVP, the details, a photo album, the registry...AND a link to gift $$$ with your credit card or bank debit! Kind of takes the romance out of it. Oh well. In many ways, the world has passed me by. And I think many of us have seen in the news over the past couple of weeks that significantly fewer people are reading books these days. Sigh. Give me a book and a cup of tea in the afternoon, maybe a nap or a meditation...one of life's greatest pleasures. Sending love, Leslie

  5. Good morning, Lynda! It is sunny and 69 in Ohio. I just got in from the Amish Farmer’s Market. It got a little windy and the tarp canopies started collapsing. I was grabbing metal legs to help. It was just for a minute. Yes, we must do so much to keep a home up and running. I must have 100 flower rizomes to plant. You are a great pet sitter! So nice of you to always help others. Stay strong and happy! Hugs!

  6. Good morning Lynda, you're sounding quite chipper today. You have shown once again there is no stopping a strong and determined woman, such as yourself. Good for you in figuring out the computer.

Did moving Sushi's litter box from the bedroom entice her to leave the bedroom into the hallway? I suppose she'll come out when she's ready.

I was thinking that you probably dislike cooking for one, but it's important that you eat nutritious meals. Perhaps you could check your local restaurants for take out menus. After choosing something that sounds tasty, call in the order and then go pick it up. This would be convenient and would provide a variety. Just a thought.

Enjoy your dog sitting. Thankfully you have a fenced yard, so you don't have to worry about walking the dogs, but just let them out to do their business.

  7. Good afternoon, sis.
Yes...that technology. I used to wonder why people never send cards, call to see how someone is doing, etc. I cussed the tech that prevented face to face conversations, lunches with a friend, visits to relatives, etc. Now I'm so addicted! Computer, kindle, cell phone.
You are terrific for figuring out that printer without help! Don't know if I could do it.
I have to go the Veteran Medical Center for blood work on Tuesday. It's over 40 miles I have to drive.
I slept late today! First time in a long time my meowy alarm clock didn't wake me up. Will get a nap in, too. I am determined to NOT be too tired to go to karaoke tonight.
First, I have dishes I have to wash...by hand with very hot water, lunch for me and Lucky, etc.
Saved another meme. You find great ones!
Hope your day continues to go well. We can do it! Back later...{{{HUGS}}} Maggie

  9. It's Marti. Good going! My new car has so much new technology that I think the thing could drive itself. It does steer itself if you turn on this switch and set it and it sees marked lines on each side. At least for a bit. If it notices your hands aren't on the wheel for a time it won't work. I had to read how to set the lights overhead to go on and off when you shut the door. LOL

My bf is here for the weekend and we just went and bought Labor Day cookout grub. Hot dogs, potato salad, and baked beans. And fresh corn on the cob! We watched The Ohio State Buckeyes play their first football game, and boy, we they on fire!

    Enjoy the doggos! :)
