LA DEE DA AND POO POO DEE DO

 Good morning--  We have had rain overnight----and it seems a lot cooler---I guess "fall" is in the air---

So, I DID IT!--I drove ALL THE WAY To SUDBURY YESTERDAY----  by myself-- Well, I had Lopez with me and another friend, who drove  me back home , as my eyes were dilated from the Eye Dr examining them.---  There was heavy heavy traffic--but--I did the drive--The Eye Dr said there wasn't much change in my eyes, so that was good news.--  The girl with me, drove us back here as my eyes had been dilated.---And we took little Lopez with us, as he is happy as long as he can see me.---  He is pretty tired this AM however!-----so, that appointment is over for another year!

So the gate is on the new fence --and we have a fenced , completely fenced, small yard-- safe for Lopez-

The gate is now finisher also--  So, next Spring, I can load the back of the fenced yard with flowers while Lopez plays--WITHOUT A  LEASH___lucky little fellow!

So, are you happy?----  I hope you are not sad!---  I am not crying as much--still quite lonely--but, you know WE CAN CONTINUE ON, EVEN IF WE DO LOSE A LOVED ONE!----In fact, WE MUST CONTINUE ON---  and  if we are sad, it does help to get outside and talk to others out there--about anything! Geepers Creepers--If I can do it, so can everyone else!

Music helps --In fact, the piano tuner will be here to-day to tune this poor piano , which I have lugged everywhere with me--So--turn up the music---It HELPS!

                            It doesn't matter what the music is--make it up--sing--- sing loudly---

It is a beautiful season out there , just beginning--AND_--  ----------WE ARE A  PART OF IT!!

  ``````````    ``        WE MUST GET OUT AND ENJOY THE COLOURS
  1. Good morning, sis.
    I am happy for you with all that gate will accomplish. Lopez will be happy, too.
    We knew about the eye exam last night, and I told you about my upcoming one, too.
    Today is mostly a 'chill' day for me. I woke up at 4 AM and couldn't fall back asleep. Maybe that's why I am very tired already and it's only 9:17 AM here.
    I had big plans for today, but probably won't get much done. Recyclables out for sure. And always dishes and litter box duty. I am expecting a package...a bee charm to go with a jar of manuka honey, a gift for a friend here...
    I am happy your piano will be tuned, too. I had asked you about that a couple times, but hadn't received an answer.
    I don't have to tune my radio now, cuz I have been listening to both my country station and my meditation music on the computer!
    Great memes, as always.
    Hope the rest of the day is as good as the first part...and better for me.
    Checking back later...{{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
  2. Hi Lynda
    Glad your eye exam went well. Good plan to take a driver along for return. Need a driver after dilation.
    Woot fence and gate done. Room for Lopez to romp and lots of room for flowers. You'll make it beautiful.
    I do hope after piano is tuned you WILL play and sing. I'm not sure if you played at all at apartment.
    Great inserts. Carry on. You can do it!
    Still crazy hot in St.Louis. This heat sucks the energy out of me.
    Enjoy today.
    Hugs and blessings.
    Has Sushi come downstairs??
  3. So glad that you made it to Sudbury and back w/little Lopez and the help of your friend. AWESOME! Good news that there is not much change.
    Hurray for a fenced in area for Lopez! Hope Sushi is adapting, too.
    Glad that you are feeling a little better. It takes lots of time.
    Yes, music is soothing! Glad your piano will be arriving. Hurray!
  4. It's Kathy. Way to go, driving all the way in heavy traffic to Sudbury. I know we can do things if we only try. After so many surgeries, I am very leery about driving very far from home, but I'm just going to have to give it a try! I love that your yard is now safe for Lopez to roam around. He will love that, I'm sure. We are still having hot and humid weather - even though the weather people have told us it will end soon. I'm ready now! Have a wonderful rest of your day!
  5. Glad to see you "carrying on" and taking care of the things we all must take care of! Just got done paying for Ember's dog license renewal. They sent me a bill saying it was LATE, but it is NOT! It's funny how their online system and their snail mail notices are out of sync! The Prisoner is due for a vet visit on Thursday. Always something, isn't there?
    Hang in there, and enjoy the change of seasons as it comes through!
  7. Hi Lynda! Can’t wait until high 60’s and 70’s in Ohio next week! So proud of your driving yesterday. You are the strongest lady I know! You are doing so well back home. Happy for you! Big hugs!
  8. Hi Lynda: Great that you were able to drive to Sudbury. And got good news from the doctor. Yes , the weather is starting to change into cooler and today is raining some. Big change from last week! Glad that the piano is getting tuned today and will be all be set for you to play. And Air Canada strike is settled so Matt will be back to work within the week. And his wife earlier I guess. Have a good night. Brenda
    I am glad your yard is all fenced so soon!
