The Soul knows what your mind forgot!

Isn't the above so true?---It feels terrible to not be respected, doesn't it--and why is it  difficult to  demand respect? We work hard  each day and  for that, we should earn respect.  We deserve respect! ---

I just walked Lopez AND --- He did his business!---It is quite cool out there this AM--and it has rained over night-

So, last night, I broke down and purchased a few plants-- Next year I shall do some heavy duty gardening, but this year--(The year of 2 "moves")----  the gardening has resorted to a few pots of flowers--

If you look closely, you can see the tennis courts  across the road from this town house--
Gradually a few pictures-and even blinds,  are  appearing--

and I am hoping that the portable dishwasher might re-appear this AM--The owner of the Dishwasher store , found a connection that he hopes will work on the tap here--You see, it is a portable dishwasher--

So, 2 of the Grandchildren,  are heading off to University this weekend---That will make 3 Grandkids now in University-- Where did the time go??--  Yesterday, they were babies--Time does go by so quickly doesn't it?

Little Sophia with a rice cooker on her head--now ready for University in Ohio--and Son #4 with Sophia ---in Elliot Lake.--and of course, my Himself ---many moons ago---

So, it is a new day--another day to demand respect-- to feel that "you have it in you""--that YOU  ARE   STRONGER than what people give you credit for--so, BE THAT WAY--TRY , even, just for to-day--show everyone that you are  strong-----that you can be happy--that you respect them too, and , best of all, make sure that you ARE Enjoying this day-----This day only comes once----and guess what?-

WE ARE A PART OF TO_DAY!

                                                            TRUST   YOUR  SOUL:--

  1. Good morning, sis.
I am glad your dishwasher can (hopefully) be made to work for you!
I had a dishwasher once for a few months...until we moved.
We had a terrible thing happen yesterday in Minneapolis. A guy with a gun and a ski mask shot into a window of a Catholic school. Two kids died and 17 people were injured. The shooter is now dead, too.
Impossible to fathom why someone would do such a thing.
It's a pretty day here, slightly foggy and cool so far. Only 56F.
Love your blasts from the past...always. And it's good to see you are slowly getting pictures hung...and plants outside, too.
It's good to keep busy, isn't it?
I got the floor done. Today will be a load of laundry and/or lugging that vacuum out.
I am about to eat breakfast. Of course, Lucky gets his as soon as I get up. Be back later. Hope to hear good news about the dishwasher. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  2. Good morning, Lynda! High 67 and cloudy with rain this afternoon in Ohio. You are making everything look so nice! You will be able to relax this winter and will be happy at home. Yes, we all need respect and kindness and appreciate each day. We had a single mom with four children to lose their home in a fire nearby. I took two loads of things to them. I hope your dishwasher works out for you. Enjoy your day! Hugs!

  3. It's Kathy. I thought I wrote on yesterday's blog but I couldn't find it today. I was having trouble saving it - maybe it just disappeared! We are having a warmer day but it's still in the 70's which is tolerable. We had to two little boys today for awhile. They were fascinated with my treadmill. Wish I liked walking on it as much as they did. Got some more weeds pulled - my whole yard is weeds but like you, I will do what I can this year put more energy into it next year! Love the potted flowers. Flowers can make everything feel better! Hope you're having a good day! Love that picture of himself - a very handsome man!

  5. Hey Lynda, Marti here. You've got your place like you've ALWAYS lived there, it looks homey, cozy. Your bedroom picture that you had the other day was very nice, I like the white woodwork. What does your kitchen look like? Could you post a picture? What about your other bedroom, and the bath? Is there one bath, or 2, or 1 1/2? I hope 1 1/2, for your sake, as for me, I'm too old to go running up and down stairs just to go to the bathroom, LOL. Well, I have a total knee replacement, so I don't do stairs very well at all.

It's a dreary, lonely kind of looking day out, and only 65, I had to actually put on a coat when I got home from work. It's lightly raining. I pulled all the blinds so I don't have to look out at the dreariness, it really affects me.

  7. Lynda, I am so glad you've been posting photos of your new residence. My goodness, with the blinds up and some pictures hung, and the stove in the background with the fire, it looks so homey and cozy. One would never guess that you only moved in at the 1st of the month. You've done an awesome job.

  8. Hi Lynda
I hope the guy got a workaround for your portable dishwasher. DW seems very important to you.
I like your potted plants. You've accomplished a lot having only been there such a short time. Your house looks very homey.
I really like the picture of young Fred..so handsome.
Enjoy today. Be happy and stay strong.
    Hugs
