You're only old once--

To-day is Sunday December 28th--Son#3's Birthday--It is still dark here-- I cannot see what is falling from the sky --but--I hear  freezing rain is expected--then snow--There are many, "STAY OFF THE ROADS ALERTS"--!!!!

-and here is Son#2 with Son #4--  Son#4 had broken his arm at school--I remember how sad his Father was when the school had called me to pick him up--We heard of the broken arm--and I took him to his Dad at the Health Clinic--
Anyway--I shall return--must feed the cat-- move the wash to the dryer--turn on the TV--check the weather--and wish Son#2 a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY--See y'all in a bit--  Lordy be--The weather does not look good here!
a very good picture of Son#2 , with his new hat from Scotland
-and the new necklace with Himself's ashes in it--and his photo on it-

  2. Good morning, sis!

It's snowing here already, too. Weather app says it will go on all day. I don't see snow falling looking out my big window, though. We did not have any fresh snow for Christmas.

It may just be a day to stay in. You have a doggie to walk, however. I may place a grocery order for delivery at my favorite grocery store. Seems to me, with all the conveniences we have now, we've gotten lazy.

Love your photos! You may have more on your hard drive than I do. And your new necklace is just perfect!

Please wish Matt a MOST happy birthday from your friend in Minnesota.

  3. Good Morning Lynda,
With the weather you are describing, it sounds like it might be a good day to stay inside and stay warm and safe.
It's 60 degrees here, which is crazy, and very overcast and dark. Then tomorrow temperatures will plunge to the 30's. Crazy weather.
I am staying home today and working on getting caught up with everything.
We drove 5 hours round trip to my sister's to our Christmas get together with my Mom and siblings. It was nice to see everyone but that is a long time on the road for one day. I was wiped out when we got home.
Anyway, Happy Birthday to your son and Have a good day!

    Hugs,
    Jackie

    2. Good morning Lynda, sending Happy Birthday wishes to Matt. I hope he is at home to celebrate with his wife and daughter. I'm glad that you shared a photo of the necklace you received with a photo of Fred and some of his ashes. He'll always be close to your heart and go where you go. It's sunny today, but we have another big rain storm coming, beginning on New Year's Eve and continuing for a week. All of the people participating in and attending the famous Rose Parade in Pasedena are going to get soaked. Stay inside today and put Lopez in the backyard to do his business.
