Good Morning-- It is Friday, February the 13th--(That doesn't sound good does it?-)-LOL---(-but, hopefully , only if you believe in spirits going the wrong way)- The best news is--- to-morrow is Valentine's Day.

#2.-Do not let the sun go down on a quarrel.--and---
#3.-Go after a great job because you can always get a job you do not like. and
#4. Happy is a person with a hobby.
The wash is now in the dryer here--The cat is fed---Lopez is fed also--but hasn't been out yet--

ReplyDeleteIt's another beautiful blue sky day here today. It's only 32F now, but the temp is due to be almost 50F again. I'll take it.
Yes. Tomorrow is SAINT Valentine's Day. Why don't people put the word 'saint' in the title anymore? Have we gotten that lazy? LOL
The photos are great. Lots of people at Fred's service. There were probably more that didn't get in the photo. I take it the photo was mostly family.
Sophia is precious with her Santa hat and that beautiful smile.
I am picking up another grocery order at noon. Some of it is more stuff for the party we're holding tomorrow.
Maybe the laundry I didn't get done yesterday, too. Haven't checked the laundry room yet.
Lucky and I have both had breakfast. Of course, he always wants more. He thinks it's time for me to go back to bed for my nap, but he's been up longer than I have.
I'll check back later, Lynda, to see if you've posted any replies to our comments.

DeleteIt's Kathy. I love the photos. It's definitely been a Friday ther 13th kind of day for me. Tom woke up mad at me over something I said last night and that just really hurts. It seems he's mad at me more and more often these days. Oh well, I will try to be happy. Daisy is hanging out with me! And it's going to be 45 degrees with sunshine and no wind - can't beat that! Happy Valentine's Day to you tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteI just came in from searching for my cat for over an hour and a half! He loves to go outside and I have been taking him out (like a dog) for about an hour everyday....even when it was colder! He has a little harness with an Air Tag on it so I can keep track of him! I usually putter around in the garage or yard and do little things like fill the bird feeders, etc. But today, he disappeared on me after we had been out about 40 minutes. Somehow, he got out of range of the tracker on his air tag.....finally the satelite showed me that he was about an acre away......I was there tromping around in the field around an old abandoned barn.....a neighbor came out to help me and even looked in the nasty old chicken barn for him....to no avail. I kept tromping around in the weed clumps that are packed down because of the snow. I was lucky I didn't break my neck....when I finally picked up his signal, I pushed the button to play the alarm on his collar....and I got close enough to find him. He came running towards me! I was so relieved and angry at the same time! I told him to get home and he ran all the way home way ahead of me. I yelled at him and put him in the house and told him he will be lucky if I even ever let him outside again......So I would say this has definitely been a "Friday the Thirteenth" for me! Happy St. Valentine's Day to you Lynda and all your followers of your blog! Lastly sending prayers to you, Marge and for your husband, Ed for his healing and recovery!
ReplyDeleteOh, if I had had one of those when, a long ago, my late hubby and I had cats, and one inside cat got out by mistake. I read where they (indoor cats) seldom go more than two houses away and go into hiding mode. So about a week later I went two houses down and he was hiding under a neighbor's shed. He came crawling out from under, and I could have cried.

Happy SAINT Valentine's Day to everyone. I bought myself flowers, candy, and a cute little stuffed sunflower creature because I figured I deserved it after the couple hard hard weeks I have had at home, AND it's my first VD Day without my ex bf of 8 years. I feel very blessed. I had a good day today!
