Morning Lynda,
ReplyDeleteWe have made it to Wednesday (Hump Day) half way to the weekend and Valentines Day on Saturday.
Glad you are meeting Dave for brunch. Sounds good and I bet it's nice to have the company to chat with.
We hit 65 degrees F yesterday, but it's going to back down to the 40's today. So I guess yesterday was giving us a hint of spring.
Have a fabulous day! Enjoy!
Hugs,
Jackie
Jackie--Valentines Day coming up--so happy you reminded me--I hope your day is fabulous also--Good to hear from yu--Lynda

DeleteI also have the Green works snow shovel. I like it too. My himself has just had a cataract operation and wasn't allowed to clear snow for a month, so I used the snow shovel it works well. I also have the trimmer and lawn mower for the summer, they are good too, and they use the same battery. It's still cold here in Montreal, but getting warmer. We had snow overnight. Mary
ReplyDeleteI have thAt same one and it can really throw the snow--Yes I like it also--=plus it is easy to handle--I like the batteries also--Lynda
DeleteGood morning, sis.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful blue sky day here. Only 22F now, but it's supposed to get to 40F. I will be able to clean out the car and go get the outside washed, too.
We all have those chores to do, but I find it satisfying when they're done.
I have shopping, too.
That shovel sounds wonderful. If it was $400 less, I'd get one.
The photos? Great! Allison and her daughter...and the boys when they were tiny. What wonderful memories.
Nothing about Lopez and Sushi today, so I am assuming they're fine.
Enjoy your brunch with Dave. Do you have omelets, pancakes, sandwiches or steak and shrimp?
I'll come back at end of the day to see about updates or replies, as usual. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Maggie, Greenworks has various models of the snow shovel. Some are a lot less,so if you don;t have tons of snow, one of them might work for you. I suggest buying from Walmart vs Greenworks, cheaper (on Walmart, make sure the seller is Greenworks). I bought my mower and handheld pruner/chainsaw that way. https://www.greenworkstools.com/collections/snow-blowers Might say sold out on this link but may be available still on walmart.com.
DeleteMaggie--Yes I had breakfast--with Dave--lunch-to-morrow also--wAndrew and his wife Lisa were there also--it breAks up the day--Lynda
DeleteGood morning Lynda, this morning I looked at the time difference between where I live and where you live, and saw that you are 3 hours ahead of me. I actually thought it would be more. I am so glad that Son #1 introduced you to Dave. It's wonderful that the two of you can get together and share a meal and conversation. It benefits both of you. Good news that your temps have gone up and and you didn't have to deal with snow today. It would be nice if it remained that way. Enjoy your brunch with Dave and enjoy the afternoon ahead of you.
ReplyDeleteMaureen from California
Maureen I came out of the restaurant and SNOW IS MELTING--YEAHHHHHH!-- Spring must be on its way--Man!--It sure was a cold winter!--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda, it's Kathy. I'm glad you are getting out for brunch today. I love having brunch - I'm never very hungry in the morning so a nice brunch is just perfect. Then I don't have to have lunch! Love the photo of your Dad with the two boys, so cute! I will have to look into that Green Snow Shovel. Maybe I can help Tom. Sometimes there's not enough snow to snow blow, but it would be nice to clear the paths a bit. And buying on Amazon is so easy! I just got home from my Pilates class - it always makes me feel so much better! I hope you have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteYes I really like this snow shovel-=-easy to handle and it blows the snow over the fence--I had purchased one a lot larger-Phil sent it back and re-ordered this and as well as half the price, it does a great job--easy to store also-- comes with 2 small batteries---Lynda
