Do Whatever you are able for as long as you can!

and---  It is  Thursday, February the 12th-

We have sun--feels sorta milder --well-- I guess that is debatable--It is minus 17C outside here right now, but, I do see some brighter light far off in the distance--  the sun is coming up--but--  (There is always a "but")----there is so much snow in the back yard--so, it looks like we still in the depths of winter!

BUT--We know  it will change--because---we are  almost into March--Isn't that "spring-like " weather?----- Not much use talking about it I guess--It's all up to "Mother nature"--Isn't March  "Kite Weather"?--

I am meeting Dave for breakfast--again--at 11am--kinda breakfast-Lunch--The wash is now in the dryer--  Lopez and Sushi are both up-- so--the Day Has Begun!!!---and yes, "You are amazing" and yes, "you CAN handle anything"--

#1. Life begins every morning when you wake up!

#2.The higher you rise-the higher your horizon

#3.Spend a little time to-day for to-morrow, but not too much so that it ruins to-day.

#4. Rise early.

Below--Miss Hannah--(Now finished University)

above--Me--with Fred's sister and her daughter, Karen--------I think we were at EXPO__

Below--Allison with her 2 children, Sophia and Jacob--Sophia now in Univertsity

S0--so  many blasts from the past--memories--Find joy in what you have-- ---          Look back at your ancestors for strength!

So--I must get moving here--I hope your day goes well--  If it looks like it isn't--change course------We can------We must try!

  1. Happy Thursday, Lynda! It is high 30 in Ohio but in the 50’s next week. That will be fantastic! Enjoy your brunch out with Dave. I am happy you have a friend that keeps you company over meals. So nice! Hannah is always so cute. Allison’s kids are adorable, too! Yes, it is almost Spring! I hope you can make it to Medina when the weather is great. Ice cream weather. We must celebrate that! Have a wonderful day! Hugs!

  4. It's Kathy. Yes, we must have a plan! How nice that you are meeting Dave again for brunch. We are getting some unseasonably warm days over the next week - Saturday it could reach 50 degrees! What a nice surprise for Valentine's day. We also have the wash going and when the second load is put in we'll go do our Costco shopping. Have a great day!

  5. Love, love, love the meme "To stay young at heart you must have a plan...to do whatever you are able for as long as you can!" It is so true...as once we stop moving, we lose what we had....I try to get moving and not let the "couch potato" desire pull me down! LOL! And I do love the picture of the ladies exercising in dresses and doing squats! It is hilarious! My yoga instructor has us doing squats most every day! And the snow has melted here big time! WhooHoo! And the sun is shining.....it's going to be a great day!

  6. This didn't post! Glad I been sending it to myself and checking back. This is the comment I entered this AM:
Good morning, sis. It's going to be in the high 40sF today! I am going to get my car washed. Get some winter slush and salt stains gone.

Love your photos! Great memories...Fred's sister and niece...Hannah, Allison and her kids...you're lucky to have all the pics to look back on.

I'm happy you have a new friend to eat with. Enjoy your brunch.

I will get going. It's going to be another busy day. You have laundry done, I hope I can find an empty laundry room.

Back later, Lynda. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  7. Hi, it's Marti.

Allison looks JUST like Fred in that photo, the way she is smiling, and the sunglasses. Remember that he always lives on in your children, his essence.

I ordered a cute little stuffed sunflower critter for myself for Valentine's Day, and to go along with it I bought myself flowers and candy just now, and even a card, since I broke up with my bf last August, why not give mySELF some love? I googled to see if that was a weird thing to do, and it assured me that it was NOT, so I'm glad I'm not a weirdo, LOL

Work was hard today, I was accused of helping a new girl and deleting someone's pictures by mistake yesterday b4 I left work, that I KNOW I didn't delete, and so everyday I put on my "armor," b/c it seems that everyone there is anti Marti. I sure do miss my little room that had only ME in it. It's way too "people-y" in there.

  9. Hi Lynda, in reading your posts of late, it seems you now have all of your ducks in a row. You've established a routine that works for you and I think part of is because you have a friend in Dave with whom you can share a meal. It's made you happy because you have something to look forward to. I am happy for you.

So very tired from hospital drive and long days. In some ways hes improved today. Brain bleeds are a long recovery.
    Thanks for distracting my mind.
