Good morning--It's just me--

To-day is Monday, Feb. the 9th--I am due to go to the Surgery Department at the Hospital for 8am----I will return in a couple of hours---I have a suspicious looking spot above me right eye-- probably it will be removed--probably caused by the eye drops for my eyes--  In any event I will return , later on this AM--Praise the good Lord for Doctors--

10am--have been back home for awhile--nothing was done --yet-- but the Dr looked at it - planning some sort of action--Personally , I think it will heal on it's own--in time--We shall see--My eye drops caused the scab, which may just drop off if --given time--Who knows???
Anyway, I am back home--had breakfast--Lopez happy to see me--
So, a few "blasts from the past"-
Below, is Son#2 with Son#1--many moons ago

    and Miss Hannah, below--
Below-- Son#3  with Emma, his daughter, now in her 2nd Yr university

I hope your day is a great day----Make it a great day--
Remember to reach down and lift people up, ----Forget past disappointments,  and to Learn from others' mistakes--
Hopefully I can fit in a few shut-eyes this afternoon--Do any of you fit  in a short nap in the day?
I shall look for you all later--Go for it--Be Useful, and Try not to Squander time!

  4. Hi Lynda
Hoping that eye thing doesn't require any procedures.
You asked why my himself is in hospital. Pneumonia and a brain bleed procedure. Hes not doing great. Prayers appreciated for Ed. Thank you everyone.

  5. I am glad you had your eye examined and that it seems like it's "no big deal." We have so many things to be concerned about...it seems that your eye is not one of them.

I have to take 'Becca for for drugs soon (a blood thinner). She has a blood clot in her leg!

The photo of your sons is great. My daughter is great with computer software. She would probably paste your other son in the photo and people would think he was originally in the same one. If that makes sense.

Little Princess Hannah is always adorable...as are all of our grandkids.

It's my daughter-in-law's (wife of my youngest son) birthday today. Hope her boys (her 2 sons and my son) do something special for her.

We are supposed to get some rain soon. It will help melt what snow is still in the parking lot. When the temp drops this evening it will all turn to ice. Better get errands done today.

I'll check back at end of day for any comments to us. Rest up, Lynda. Yes, I get a nap in almost every afternoon...with Lucky curled up beside me. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  6. It's Kathy. Yes, I do love to look at the old photos. I've been thinking I have so many and need to go through them and write names on them or my children won't know who's who. But oh what a job that will be. We are warming up. It was so nice to see the sunshine yesterday, kind of dreary today. I hope all goes well with scab by hyour eye. It looks like it's painful. Have a good day today.

  7. Glad you went to have your eye looked at - even though you think it might heal on its' own! As we age, it is important to keep as healthy as we can be and sometimes we need a Dr. to help us out! I'm sure Fred was happy to help all his patients stay as healthy as possible!
Do you have all your photos that you share on your computer, or do you pull them out and take a picture to attach to your blog? I have tons of old photos - but they are all in boxes and not organized as the cleaning company that my insurance company hired, took all of the from my house and then returned them all dumped together in several boxes! It makes me sad and I feel overwhelmed when I think about what to do with the mess. Sunny here in Metro East area in Illinois (near St. Louis) - I am hoping it will melt the remaining piles of snow along my driveway and in my yard!

  8. Hi Lynda, sounds like you appointment went okay. You didn't mention the weather today, so I hope that means you have no snow to deal with. Enjoy today and I'm sending wishes that the remainder of your week goes well.
