Happiness is about being grateful for what we receive.

Good Morning-- To-day is Wednesday, February the 4th--
It is just daylight here--  cold--the sun is just getting up--I see "pink-ish purple rising, in the sky--Lopez and I are up---Sushi was up--back on the bed--Anyway, the wash is in-chugging away--and I guess this day has begun--so-I shall return--I must turn the heat up--It feels so cold in here.--But--the fire is on--so much to do when one gets up--alone--Fred used to help  me-but--I must be grateful that I can do  mostly everything-right??--(But it's not the same!)
                                        The fire is on--good thing!!
I just see on TV that a poor Gramma was kidnapped--Holy Cow! Now they are after "Grammas"--That poor Lady--and they forgot her meds-What on earth is this world coming to?---What kind of people do that??--So--a few blasts from the past--
Allison with her2 children--Sophia and Jacob-Check out the expression on Allison's face!

                                Below-----Emma and Ava-probably at a swim meet-Son#3's dauighters

and Allison at a Chinese Restaurant
So, a cleaning lady will be here soon--I must get off this computer--Remember--- Happy is the person with a Hobby--Do not sell yourself short--and--Even if you do something ridiculous, outrageous or stupid, do it with enthusiasm.---and Cherish leisure, because it is a rare commodity.  So much advice--so much to learn in life!

Enjoy this day--Do not allow anyone to kidnap you--(They are going after Grammas  now--)
And try to enjoy every minute of to-day!
Happiness is being grateful for what we receive!

  1. Good Morning Lynda,
You captured a nice sunrise picture and that fire looks cozy.
Sushi has the right idea. Cats have the luxury of sleeping all day. Mine sure do.
I am guessing you are talking about Savannah Guthrie's Mom. Yes, that is awful. I don't have a good feeling about how this is going to end. People have just lost their minds anymore. It's a very scary time in our country and plenty of others as well.

Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday! We are strong, we got this!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  2. Good morning, sis.

Going after grandmas? That's not a happy thought. Maybe she's rich. Why else would they want her...unless she was driving her vehicle and they wanted that?

Let's pray for her and her abductors and move on to happier thoughts...like it's one day closer to spring.

The fire looks so comforting. And the photo of Allison on the slide is cute...as are the swimmers.

I haven't had breakfast yet so that's the next thing on my list.

I checked the internet. It looks like my income shows I have to pay taxes this year. I haven't had to do that for several years. It's probably due to chances you know who put in place. I'll work on that later.

I'll check back to see how your day went with your clean house, precious pets, etc. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  3. Good morning Lynda, your little home looks so cozy and inviting. You definitely start your chores early, but that's mainly a good thing. As always, your photos are wonderful, and all of them show that you and Fred raised a happy family. Enjoy your day.

  4. It's Kathy. I had my Pilates Reformer class today and we had a substitute - and he had us doing some really hard things. It was a good workout but I'm already feeling it! I love the photos. And I think you're doing great. I know you miss Fred, I can't imagine life around here without my Tom. He makes me crazy some days but I sure would miss him. I'm a little worried about my little Daisy. She's having a hard time getting up these days. I hope it's just the cold affecting her bones like they affect mine. Have a great day.

  6. Glad that you are able to manage what you need to do on your own. It is hard! Being caretaker for DH, I have lots more on my plate, too. But we’re strong. We are doing it.

There are so many psychos in this world right now. Oh my. Just have to be careful.

LOVE the blasts from the past.

Trying to enjoy each moment of each day.

    Hugs and blessings
