I hear on the radio, that millions of people are without power in the Toronto area-- We have power here-                                            --  but we did experience high winds yesterday afternoon-- Right now it is cool outside and it looks mighty much like it will rain--

I noted on the email, that our taxes are done---  I must sign them and send them back to the accountant--                    

                            Who would ever think that my Fred would not be here ---???

Yesterday was another hard day--- so lonely---  Lopez and I walked many times---up the walking trails --He barks at all the other dogs--And our election is over--The Liberals got in--My Grampa would be happy to hear that--

                      

  I hope that you are feeling  strong----that you are happy to be "up and at-er""---It's all deciding that "YOU" can be  happy---that we all can start a new day--then---- make a new ending---

To-day is the last day of April---  then---   to-morrow---- is MAY----  MAY DAY--We used to sing, ---

Good morning---a whole new day beginning-- I hear thunder showers are in store for us--nut--right now--outside--we have sunshine--with light clouds -----

Son #2 has  been down---back from Britain--He was down for a coffee----Lopez and I were out walking up the trail ----  He did not do his business--so will have to go out again--

Last night I stayed up to watch the election--AND--THE  LIBERALS  got in--- a LiBERAL:  MAJORITY I believe--which will be good! 

This AM I just called another mover---  I need a few quotes on the move--  I have a little over a month before moving--- The house in Elliot  will be ready August 1st--and hopefully we will have a ceremony for Himself late July--which I must be back for that.--

I need to buy a new washer, and dryer when I get to Elliot--  Lordy Be! How many washers have I bought in my life----A LOT!!!!

                                I miss my husband---  Does one ever get over that??--

I am so happy to have Lopez and Sushi--They help-----They keep me busy---  cannot talk however-

I guess, the secret to surviving, is , to be strong--wipe the tears away----try to accept that this is my life now--- try to help others-----  

  "Now tell me, why do women live longer than their husbands?--"---AND----  Why did my Himself and I never talk about what would happen if one of us departed before the other??--

            Good morning--We have clouds--looking very much like rain --maybe---but--it is mild--

                           I see Son #2 is leaving Britain- He might've  already left---for Toronto--

    I hope your day is going well--It is a brand new day----AND WE ARE A PART OF IT!!

To-day , here in Canada, it is voting day--I have already voted--early voting---nice to get that over with--                            -I hear also, that the sunset this evening is at 8-22pm--(a wee bit of trivia here!)-

-and, I must call in another moving company , to give me an estimate on the move--BACK TO ELLIOT LAKE__--hard to believe eh--another move!------(I am returning home!)__ 

I am posting a "blast from the past"----Grampa's house--in Port Perry---as it looked  years ago---

                            and now--- a very old picture of--GUESS WHO??__________--ME!!!

I am later than late, posting--but----  I AM HERE NOW! --You see, I had to get groceries---by myself--in "MY" vehicle---- and it all went well--= I absolutely loved driving my car!--It is the first in a very long time, that I just took "the bull by the horns"--and got in the car--started the engine--and away I went to the grocerty store--IN THE DARK!__

  I was the only one in the store when I first got there. You see, it is a 24 hr grocery!----So, when I got home I had to haul in these groceries--- clean out the frig ---  and put the groceries away--I am so proud of myself for doing all that alone! --When I get back to Elliot , I will have to do everything---alone---I surmise!

Below is Son#2's plane, waiting on the Tarmac, in Toronto,  getting ready to fly to Britain--which is where he is now--on a train, going to visit his brother-in -law--

                                                        It looks so quiet---- lovely!!

I have fed Lopez--- and Sushi---  want to go to the grocery but may have to wait till tomorrow--or--this evening----

  It is a cloudy, wet looking day outside here--I do not have any travel plans for to-day--well, the grocery store--I should try to find boxes and do some packing--or--should I just leave that for the movers??---  I just dunno yet---  

I just heard on the radio that maybe we should not be doing too much raking , at this time of year--that we might be raking up part of the "Bee Population""--that we should leave the raking for awhile--I never thought of "the Bees""-!----Did you??--

So----not too much going on here --yet---I must read all your comments from yesterdays blog----

-It is a busy time of year here in Canada--an election looming here in Canada------ taxes due- also----and for myself--another move---  Holy Cow eh??--  --Perhaps we should take to-day and just relax--??????--Arte you able to??--

I hope that  to-day you are able to   disconnect--detach--  because it just might be  good for your body , your mind, and your spirit--  ----Let us all try  to do that to-day! 

We Can Do It!

                                Good morning---  I hear it will be a rainy day here----mild tho---

However it is a  good day to have a  good day--Lopez, Sushi, and I, are up--- not "at-er" too much yet--but--I am trying to be!--still coughing--This flu is so hard to shake!

Well, I shall be moving back to Elliot Lake--    kind of the end of July--The Townhouse is available August 1st--more unpacking---  I hope that I can survive all this!! The unpacking will not be fun-----My kids are telling me to leave the piano but--  I do love my piano--   I cannot imagine leaving it!  Pianos are difficult to move-- They do not enjoy being moved!--

                                                    I must call a few movers and get quotes--

What are you up yo to-day?---Are you feeling strong??--  Are you "happy"  --and you know it??--Mom used to say, "Then clap yer hands!"---I have SO much to do, I hardly know where to begin-- And I do feel as if I've been thru a wringer--Will that feeling ever go??--

There is no other way--- I made it down here---------Now , all I have to do is make it back home--Positive thoughts----

I Hope Something Really Good Happens For You Today!

I HAVE A TOWN HOUSE WAITING FOR ME TO MOVE INTO IN ELLIOT L:AKE , AUGUST 1ST---

            AND I HAVE PAID THE RENT____for that month, which means it will be mine--

Do you know how hard that was to get??------  Oh my Lord!!!  I will be moving back to where  my heart--is-------  And to get a town house, there-----  is amazing!--It has a very small yard --fenced--for Lopez--  2 bedrooms-- washer and dryer ready---I'm telling you---  that is---such great news---- 

                                            But, it means--ANOTHER MOVE---  the ;last move---

       

 How are you all this morning??? Are you feeling stronger than   you thought yu could be?? I believe it takes a great deal of positive thoughts to be strong-- that you make up your mind to be that way--and-  you are worth it!---

             " I CAN Do THIS"-----  Every morning--  Tell yourself , "I CAN do this!"--and we CAN!!

We have sunshine  here in Lakefield--It feels a tad cold--but---  I hear the temperature will go up to around 16C--not bad---There is a chance of showers this evening--

So, how is your day going?/-- Yesterday I took Lopez to the vet here in Lakefield--It went well--   but--- expensive-- The bill was over $600-=-I do not believe he had many shots while in Elliot Lake--I guess I was just plain too busy--Now Sushi must go---She is  an indoor cat, so the bill (hopefully) will be less--

I have the greatest news EVER----for all of you--- I now have a townhouse to move into, in Elliot Lake--2 bedrooms--  August 1st---  Now isn't that the most exciting thing ever??--   2 levels--a small yard--   washer and dryer--  The rent is less than here--  I reserved it!--It means another move---  FOR ME---=  but---  I need to go "HOME""--  Elliot Lake is my home--Lakefield is beautiful, but, it is not my home--

                                                            I am very excited to go back home!-

                                                                Home is where the heart is-

So---I shall figure out how  to send a video of the Townhouse, I will get it off to yu--  Excited--- positve thinking for sure!--  -------All I can say is--------

Imagine Yourself Happy!

 Good morning--It's a new day---April 27th----Cloudy--coolish--NO SNOW ---- maybe a bit of rain--

        So, yesterday, Son#2 and I went to Port Perry-- where my Dad's Mom and Dad used to live. 

Do you remember the above picture of Grampa's House??Well, Now it looks like the picture below-

   It did look so pretty!!-----My cousin  lives up on the hill where we used  to slide down---  It was so exciting to go back and see all this--the changes , over time. And Port Perry has grown--All the older homes have been now replaced with  new smaller modern homes.--

               -And here is my cousin--=all grown up--=and myself--  taken yesterday--

It was wonderful, to go back in time--see the old house--see  my cousin--I left Lopez at home here and he was  fine when I returned--So, life goes on---  We  lost a "Pope"--same double pneumonia  as my Himself, with a  stroke to follow--so sad-- seems like a body cannot be so stressed---very sad---Now, if someone had  told me this was going to happen, I would never have believed  it--And I am still fighting a cough which seems to go with the flu buh which is going around--I hope your day is good-- I hope  you are feeling strong--and happy---

Good morning--I believe to-day will be a good day--so, get up--and at-er---The sun is behind  the clouds-The day looks "promising"!- So, get out of the house-- outside--- and even if you are worrying about everything, you can worry about it all outside--Good idea eh??--

I did get the giant bed made  earlier this morning--The sheets  are in the washer--And my goal this week is to get the snow tires off the car---

Very sad news this AM-=-The Pope died-- double pneumonia--same as  my "himself " had--  very sad as  he seemed to be a  POPE  who loved the people-- plus, he seemed to be getting  better-----Life  is very precarious----  

Did you have an enjoyable Easter Holiday??-- It was lovely to have that Holiday weekend wasn't it?---so relaxing to do whatever we wished---at least for a few days----

Did some of you get to the beach?--I know , when our children were younger, we would drag them down to Florida where my Mom and Dad  lived, and catch a few rays of sunshine after a very cold winter here in the North. ---and usually we would drive--a 3 day drive from Elliot Lake--So many good memories---

                                    

                                 So, Happy Easter, Happy Spring--Happy happy everything!

I must grab some breakfast here--  I am still coughing ---  and hoping and praying this awful virus leaves me soon!--"Keep your chin up" as Dad used to say-- Remember how special you are--and how fortunate we are to be a part of this world!

Rainy  --Wet---  BUT-----The best news of all=-=-  I was able to read all your comments on your day yesterday --and--I was able to comment! --I was SO SO Happy! We have a wet , overcast day , beginning here--but----  IT IS EASTER SUNDAY---and we shall celebrate to-day--even if it is just us--AND OUR DOG!

There! I feel there should be flowers   on here--and everywhere , on this special Sunday--so, I am sending the above flowers to you all--because------

                                                        YES!!!!  I Luvs you all!

                               --and, I might as wll throw some eggs in there  also--=for you!

Even if it is raining---  I hope that to-day is a good day for you--- I have great news to let you all in on-- Life sure has surprises--and a huge surprise occurred here yesterday-- Just when you think  stuff is  going terribly terribke---life sure changes-----One should NEVER EVER GIVE UP!--- It seems there are great things happening--One must just be patient --and to-morrow, I hope I can share good news with you all--=--a huge lesson in life--NEVER EVER GIVE UP!!

Shake your Booty!

 Good morning--  Up and at-er here-- It looks mighty much like it will be a bit of a rainy day--I believe rain is predicted--So, I woke up at 4am--lay in bed till 5am  thinking about the day--Lopez and I finally did a bit of a walk--It isn't cold outside but very wet--puddles everywhere--

I voted yesterday--at the early poll-- We went in the afternoon and there were no lines--just went right in--It is good to get that over with--- So, now I must collect all the material to do the taxes-- There is always something isn't there--and, to-morrow is Easter Sunday--Hopefully I can get to church--

Does it look like in your neck of the woods, that you will have a good day?--I sure hope that you will make it a great day!----and I  know that you can do that!--
