I will be getting ready to go to my daughter's soon.
You comment for us...but it wouldn't let you comment on my washing machine? What's up with that I wonder?
Dreary here today, too. And cold! Just a couple degrees over freezing.
At least it's spring now for sure!
I trust you will have an enjoyable day...we make that happen ourselves. I know you are aware of that.

  12. It's Kathy. Happy Easter to you, Lynda! It's been a busy day for me. I got up on the early side, sat for a bit while I had my first cup of coffee. Then I needed to get the food ready. I made scalloped potatoes in the slow cooker, green beans in the steamer, and I put a glaze on the ham and it warmed up while we were in church. I also made a pre-made salad - never had done that before but it was quite good. My youngest son and oldest daughter were the only ones who ate with us, but it was really nice. BUT, I am pretty darn tired out now. Kitchen's been cleaned up, food's put away, and all the dishes have been done. I am excited to hear about your good news - I hope it works out like you want it to. Hope you had a nice day today! It's dreary here too, no rain yet but it's coming! Happy Easter!

  13. Happy Easter! Here, in Central Ohio, I couldn't ask for better weather. Here, where the sun seldom shines this time of year, we have a bright, sunny day and 70 degrees, just perfect! I went to my late cousin's wife's house (I don't know what else to call her), and we had 7 people. Just a perfect little size. My bf couldn't come, b/c he went out to eat with his family, but we had a nice time, and just TONS of food! I am stuffed! It was nice to be with people, for a change!

Sounds like you are in good spirits, and I hope you had a wonderful Easter with your family, or at least, some of your family! :)

  14. Happy Easter Lynda! I hope you had a great day! I got to spend it with 3 of my 4 children and their families....so 6 out of 7 grandkids....my CA kids were not with us. My daughter hosted dinner (lots of juicy ham and lots of sides) at her house as my little rental has only 4 chairs for the kitchen table....and there were 15 of us! I will be so happy to get back into my house so I can host our special holiday dinners again....that is one of the reasons my late husband and I bought the big house 23 years ago....room for all the kids, spouses and grands...and it was great! Sigh....just one more of the obstacles I am facing now...but I am not complaining. God has been good to me and on this Easter Sunday I am so thankful for everything I do have. And on another note, your little package should be arriving soon.....according to the tracking of USPS....can't believe how long everything takes to get from the US to Canada! - But it has to go through Customs! I hope you had a great day! Hugs!
