We missed you dear friend
ReplyDeleteI sure missed yu all Thankyu for writing--Lynda
DeleteGlad you got power back Lynda. So many here without. Such a terrible storm. So much damage here in Michigan.
ReplyDeleteOh Yu got the ice too??-- Its a mess here with trees down all over--Lynda
DeleteYes we got it terribly. Even the Mackinac Bridge has been closed for 2 days now. You can't even travel up North because the roads are still closed. Major major damage to cities and the rural areas. Fires where the fire department can't get to them because of downed trees. Restaurants closed, stores. Only things that have power is hospitals, schools, and fire/police departments.
DeleteHi Lynda I am so glad to see you!! It's nice to have power!! Donna_cps2 Lansing, IL
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Oh, I know how happy you must be! It was a hard thing to live through when you thought your new place would have less bad weather than the old one.
ReplyDeleteI'll check back later to see if you posted more. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Oh Maggie--The power came on about 4pm--Cudnt believe it-after 3 or 4 days--Lynda

ReplyDeleteOh, Sweet Lynda, happy to see you're back. Sorry about the horrid weather causing no power and no heat. Hopefully you have no where that you must go. Venturing out in ice storms is not wise. Weather here is crazy too as 80 degree weather is forecast for next week. Take good care of yourself Lynda, because you matter to all of us.
ReplyDeleteLYNDA!!!! So happy to see a note from you. I'm so glad you're ok...was concerned about you. Missed you!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your storm and no power. Hope you were able to keep warm.
Be safe. Stay in
Love and hugs from St.Louis. Big rain storms on the way....
Marge/St.Louis
I had a power outage here in San Diego yesterday (1pm to 8pm) and definitely NO snowstorm, just a little rain and breeze. Using my lantern more than ever before!
ReplyDeleteWe all missed you, too, Lynda! Glad you survived the power outage. We're having a "bit o' weather" down here in the midwestern USA this evening... happens every Spring. Batten the hatches and hold on!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I checked back one more time before I shut down my computer. So sorry about the ice storm - no power is not fun to deal with. Is your daughter's family still with you? I'm just happy to hear that you're okay! Have a lovely evening!
ReplyDeleteHad read about the ice storm. Too bad the apartment building does not have generators😬. Hope your daughter and family did not get stuck in that. Glad you are safe , and hopefully had plenty of blankets!
ReplyDeleteIt's awful to lose power, it affects so much. We are gearing up for storms and several "5-8" inches of rain, thunderstorms, and possibility of tornadoes in the Greater Cincinnati area over the next few days. Glad you are OK and power is back on. You and your blogs have been missed.
ReplyDeleteJackie
