From "The Depths of Despair"--

                                                    --- FINALLY --FINALLY----BACK ON HERE

I HAVE BEEN SO SICK--what Fred had--high fever ----  I am waiting on the Pharmacy  to get here with an antibiotoc--  but--I FINALLY got a message from Elliot Lake Retirement Living--telling me they have nothing available to move into, but--to keep calling and perhaps something will come up---I just have to wait it out--stay here till someone in Elliot Lake moves out--

So-I FINALLY  turned on the computer--- We have sunshine outside--I hear it is snowing in Elliot-- and--I shall  stop feeling sorry for myself and read all yer comments from yesterday--Life must carry on, even when one feels ill--Maggie thank yu for getting me out of the depths of despair--

  1. Hi Lynda, being sick makes things seem worse. Hope antiobiotic shows up soon.
Sorry no openings right now at EL retirement apts. May want to put a note on calendar and call at least every other week...so they remember you and know you want to live there. Personslly. I'd get a realtor or 2 to help you find a rental .
Take care of yourself. Feel better. We've been coughing for 2 weeks....himself had antiobiotic....no fevor but the cough. Sigh
Take care...hang in. An apt will come up soon...
Were all supporting you, praying for you and keeping you in our thoughts. Big virtual hug, support and strength

  2. Hi Lynda! Sorry you are so sick. The meds will help so much. You would think they would have a waiting list for apartments and not have to guess when to call back. It snowed in Ohio last night. Sunny today. Hope you feel better very soon. Hugs!

  3. Sorry to read that you are sick. I hope you get better quickly. Right now here in Southwest Michigan, we are experiencing snow showers. Yuck! I'm tired of winter type of stuff. Not even to going to warm up till the weekend. My son will turn 40 on Saturday, and I can't believe how quickly time has gone. I am wishing you the best right now. Take care of yourself.

  4. So sorry to hear you've not been feeling well, Lynda! I'm sending my prayers and wishes for a smooth recovery from "whatever it is"! It's a sunny day down here. Ember sends wags to Lopez, and Prisoner sends purrs to Sushi, and hope they are both loving on YOU!

  5. Hi Lynda, sorry to hear that you've not been feeling well, and your hearing there are no retirement apts available right now. I hope the antibiotics work, and that you're able to rest and recover quickly.

  6. It's Kathy. I believe that when you don't feel well the whole world turns to shades of gray - the worse you feel the grayer it gets. You have every right to feel sad because someone you loves for maybe close to 3/4 of your life has left you, and rather suddenly! You GET to feel sad for awhile and that's okay. I'm happy to hear that you have a prescription coming. I had a sinus infection in January that nearly did me in - I finally called and the antibiotic started working within a couple of days. I am certain that God will provide a place for you in Elliot Lake in time. While you are waiting let us support you in whatever way we can! Take care, get lots of rest, drink water and let your body heal!

  7. Hi Lynda: Hope your antibiotics make you feel better physically. Being sick always makes us feel bad on a good day never mind a bad day! I also suggest you get a realtor to help you find an apartment in Elliott. They can send info to you on the computer. Hope you feel a bit better by tomorrow. Take care. Hugs Brenda

  8. It's Marti. So sorry - that you're ill. I was off sick all last week, all but part of Monday, with evidently the same thing that's going around. I was sick for 2 weeks, then it either came back, or it was a new one. So it's been over a month now. Each time I went to the doc, he'd order a stronger antibiotic. I'm now on Cipro, the big guns! Get well soon! Mine has been coughing to beat the band, and a whole lot of mucus! Coughing so hard my stomach hurt! Bf came on Saturday to be with me, as I asked him to. He was a great help! The only thing I could really do is be on the computer, nap, and watch some movies with him.

Today I'm back to work, but still not feeling very well.

  10. My dear, take care of yourself! Maybe no opening in Elliot is a sign to just stay put for awhile. Hugs and healing!
