Are you strong, sensitive, spirited, and sassy?

 Good morning--Sunny here--only 63 degrees--a bit crunchy--but---It is a new day--new possibilities--Hearts up--minds sharp--and we are off---
So, I have the sheets off the bed-- mainly tho, because I lost a house phone somewhere in the bedroom--thought it might be hidden in the duvet but----doesn't seem to be--

Already son#1 has sent a picture of his coffee--He is in Britain to-day--flew from Ottawa--and right now is waiting for the train to visit his brother -in -law-- in the country-there, north of London.

Yesterday I sorted pictures out---  placed them in rooms where they might be hung, but I just left them sitting on the floor, against the wall-- I have so many family photos-- way too many to hang--  I shall try to  get some of the boys to take some--which isn't too promising--They do not seem to be into family pictures--Other than that, I might have to repack them and store them in the crawl space under the stairs----and then they won't be seen again for multi years to come--so, of course I'd rather they were hung-- It is a bit of a dilemma----What to do?--What to do??--

A Blast from the past--Son #1 and son#2 many moons ago--

Son #3 with  his Dad

Fred and I not too long ago--

So I must get those sheets into the dryer! Do you remember hanging sheets onto the clothes line and seeing them blowing in the wind?--And they smelled so fresh when you made the bed with them on it!

And speaking of memories, -------I am so happy when people come and hug me, and tell me  how happy that I returned--  I 'm not good with names, but I sure recognize them all, and I appreciate that they really are happy that I have returned to this wonderful community in Canada's North--Yes, I am home!

Great memories----kinda  mixed up in my brain--LOL

So, How is your day going?--Are you Happy?--Are you feeling stronger than you ever believed you could be?--We are survivors because we are over 60, and---we sure are spirited,  sassy, and sensitive ---

  1. Good morning, Lynda! You should be able to push a button on your phone base and find your phone. Your sheets will feel so good tonight. Yes, hanging laundry out makes them extra fresh. I did that when my son was little and let him sit in the basket. It will be about 70 for the next week in Ohio. I hope you figure out your pictures and which to hang. Pick a big wall and make a collage by hanging several together. Have a lovely Sunday! Our favorite day. Hugs!

  2. Good Morning Lynda,
It's cooler here too, hoping the sun comes out. Right now it's a little dreary.
Not sure how big the picture frames are on the family pictures but if they aren't too big, maybe you could make a wall of pictures, like a collage. Lay them out on the floor in the pattern you want to decide how to hang them. Just a suggestion. Hope it helps.
    Seize the day!
Hugs to you, Sushi and Lopez.

  3. Good morning, sis.
What do I do with photos? I have multiple little albums, photos in frames sitting on surfaces (bookshelves, dresser, ammoire, etc.), on the hard drive of my PC, Kindle and phone...some very old photos I inherited from my mom that show people that I have no idea who they are. I cherish them all.
Your blasts from the past are wonderul. Love that one of you and Fred, especially.
Also the women over 60 meme! :-)
It's cool ehre, too. Only 58F. My weather app shows it will reach 67F. I believe fall is coming too early. I believe you have said that, too.
Breakfast time, Lynda. Will check back again later.
Let's make it a great day! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  4. It's Kathy. My kids aren't all that interested in any of my things or photos either. I feel like I didn't appreciate all those things until after I lost both my parents. In going through their things I found so many treasures I remembered from my childhood. It's very cool here too, feels so much like Fall. I worked outside for a couple of hours yesterday but today my back is really bothering me. But I need to do the work while the weather cooperates. One of these days I hope to get out for a short walk with Daisy. Love the photos! Have a wonderful day.

  5. Hi Lynda, HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS, and you followed your heart back to Elliott Lake. It's become so obvious how much happier you are, and you are making your home a welcoming place, not just to others, but to yourself as well. I hope you have an enjoyable day. Next time you go to town, give someone a hug and share your joy.

  6. The coffee looks good! Have to say that the most prevalent beverage was tea when I went there.

Yes, I remember Mom hanging sheets and pillow cases out to dry. Smelled so good!

Good day today! Got out to walk OUTSIDE w/my walker w/an aide. Hallelujah. Walked further than yesterday. This makes me happy.

Hugs and have a blessed Sunday.
