Elliot Lake--I have arrived-- miss yu all!

Good day to you all--I have now moved to the  town house--  a  huge mess to unravel--to unpack-- to watch that Sushi the cat doesI guess it will all come together in time--seems kinda   not hide somewhere where I will never find her--So far, she is just hiding in the cat tree-- There are boxes everywhere--I cannot find much--but----  I guess it just takes time--The 2 ladies were here helping-- and  Gil (their husband and father) is outside chopping down overgrown bush--

And I am now working on a new I Mac computer , which I am not familiar with at all-so-It is taking me twice as long to type--no mouse pad--which I will have to deal with sometime--

I just wanted to say hello to you all--that I am thinking of you--BE STRONG_-I used to know a lot-- everything is  kinbda weird right now---  but--in time--I hope life will get better---  -In the meantime, I do miss yu all--a lot--  I shall look for what you have to say--I do miss you all-Lynda

  1. Yes - getting used to not have a mouse isn't easy, but you will get the hang of it! I love my new Mac now! So happy that you are finally where you want to be - albeit with a lot of work and unpacking to do! I am envious as I still haven't been given a date when I can move back into my house.....and I worry about my cats and how they will adjust to moving again! Hang in there and be strong and let anyone who offers to help you do it! You can always go back and rearrange stuff in the silverware drawer, etc....unpacking the boxes and getting them out is the goal! Hugs to you!!!!

  2. Good Sunday Morning Lynda,
Glad to hear you are in the town house. It will take time to get it organized but you will get it there.
I didn't like not having a mouse with my laptop so I had hubby disable the touch pad and hook up a mouse. It may take a little getting used to, or have someone get you a mouse and use it that way.
Have a good Sunday and happy unpacking!

  3. Good morning, sis.
I know it's a mess now. Just take your time. Take breaks from unpacking to do something more enjoyable. Will you have to have your piano tuned again?
It's hazy hear from fires again and cooler.
You probably didn't check your last blog comments so I will tell you again what an absolutely unbelieveably fantastic time I had at the MN zoo with my daughter and grandson. They rented me a 'scooter' and I scooted around all day. So many wonderful animals. And lunch, too. We plan to go back in around a month. The red pandas never came out so we could see them, but Cindy bought me two stuffed ones. One is a rest hugger, and the other is bigger.
I'll come back later. Saved that meme, too. It tells it like it is! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. YAY!! You are in the residence…whew…what an ordeal, huh?! It will all come together eventually even tho you want everything in its place right now! Yes, make sure that neither Sushi nor Lopez escapes out the door or hides in an empty box! Hang in there, the most stressful part is definitely over and you survived!! ❤️. Karen ( Eissa7)

  6. It's Kathy. I'm glad you have moved in and yes, it will take awhile to get everything settled. It's good that you have some help. I hope some of your children/grandchildren will also come help you as you sort through things. Although I understand when it comes to putting things where you want them, it's best to do all that yourself so you know where they are. Take care and don't over do!

  7. You don't sound so bright eyed and bushy tailed today, must feel a bit overwhelmed. I wish I were there to help. When I move, I stay up late and unpack everything the day I get there! I have the ability to put myself in hyper mode, LOL. I generally pay a few days later, but I get it done! It must be nice to have someone pack it all, but then there it all is, to UNpack. Will your daughter or children come to help you unpack it all? I sure do hope so.

Anyway, don't worry. Maybe try one box a day, if you feel able. Eventually it will all come together.

I've never had an i Mac, but I've had a Mac before. What kind of Mac did you have before? I find that I generally just like Windows machines. I had Macs before because I worked at Ohio State University in the computer science dept and they had Macs. Those little boxy Mac Classics that were black and white. haha.

    Take care!

  8. You're in your townhouse YAY and 2 ladies unpacking plus a husband bush trimming NICE.
Any family over helping? It will get straightened out...Just takes time. Hopefully, you brought LESS back so it will go quicker. I'm a neat freak so I knock myself out putting things away and later I rearrange when I find a better spot for said thing lol. Nice that you have some help.
Pace yourself and take breaks. Accept any help offered.
I hate tracking pads...gotta have my mouse.
Great to hear from you. Sure thought of you yesterday.
    Take care
    Big hugs
Gorgeous weather and cool temps in St.Louis FINALLY
