It was very cold in here this AM-- I have the wee tiny furnace on now so it should warm up quickly-
"Fall" weather--for sure!-------It will take a bit of time to get this place cozy-----It is on, so it should ewarm up now----oh no--It just went out--- ---Maybe I should turn it up---Itbis supposed ton just come back on , on its own--- Hmmmmmm------

All kinds of things have happened since I was on here
--#1.--The portable dishwasher I hAd ordered and paid for--well, it does not fit the kitchen tap connection--which means, I cannot keep it--sad sad sad

--------------------and "Hannah-Banana"--Son#2's daughter many moons ago--She is finished University now--------------Where does the time go ?----The children grow--- people pass into Heaven--and here we are--still!!!----And now I am Gramma--and----feel pretty special--We have survived a lot--------

DeleteRemember, we all had to do dishes before dishwashers were invented, so it is possible to live without them.😁. Is the little stove the only heat the house has? Or is there a regular furnace? Stay warm. Susan/Colorado
ReplyDeleteNo--There are those long floor things in each room--baseboard heaters--that is the name of them--LOL--They look so awful!!--so, its between the furnace with live fire--or yucky old baseboatd heaterts-Lynda

DeleteEven if the baseboard heaters are ugly, as cold as it gets up there, I'd make sure they work.
ReplyDeleteAs far as dishwasher....use paper plates if you don't want to wash the few things you use. I had a portable DW long ago. Hated it. DWs take way to long and run forever. I haven't used mine in the last 3 houses. Yes, they make hotter water but to me....not worth the time it takes them to wash. I could care less about a DW. No tears from me. I hand wash the few dishes as they accumulate or use paper or eat out wahoo
Is that heater gas or electric? It looks intimidating.

DeleteHi Lynda, Marti here. Me too, I HAVE to have a dishwasher, I simply do NOT do dishes, LOL. I am sure there is some way you can have a dishwasher, I've never heard of a place where you cannot have a dishwasher. Persevere! :)
