We CAN do hard things--and if we believe that we can do hard things--then we will try and succeed to do hard things!--- I AM late posting--- because Gil, my workman, and myself, had to go to the main office of this rental unit, pick up the land plan--- then take it to city hall for a permit--and now we must wait for the permit---all, just to build a fence in the back yard here , for Lopez--
And it is "hair day"---so, I washed my hair with hand soap-- (I need go buy some shampoo-)---and Barb, the hair dresser will set it later-- --AND , THERE IS MORE-----I turned off the AC---and then tried to open a window--AND THE WINDOWS WILL NOT OPEN--so, I GOT FRED's HAMMER AND VOILA_- THE WINDOW WENT FLYING OPEN_--and---- sob sob --there is more--my friend who lives in town here died last night-- my age--maybe younger--such a lovely Lady--=and now she is ---gone--so so sad!!
Sometimes life is so difficult isn't it??AND---- I MISS My Husband-- --Where is he?---- Is he OK?----Can he really be in Heaven--???????? And if he is, can he see me struggling along down here on earth?--Will we ever see each other again??--
Life just goes on and on, doesn't it? I have so many questions--and no answers---
This afternoon too, I will go out to Son#1's dock--- Fred's ashes are out there---Maybe the good Lord will talk to me ---tell me how my husband is doing--give me strength --tell me that the world is unfolding the way it should---
Good morning, sis.
ReplyDeleteAll that work for a small fence!
Dear, you have obviously not read all my comments! Fred is still with you...just in Spirit now. We lay down our physical bodies when they are worn out, but our Spirit, our soul, goes on. He has probably already come back to you in a dream, a smell, sight of a favorite bird or bug he loved...just to say he's happy and checking up on you. You gotta be aware of things like that, Lynda. Maybe he will let you know at the doc.
So Fred had EoE, too! So did my friend, JoAnne, who passed last month (we here see rainbows when she's around). In fact, she was told it was an esophageal web. Maybe that's a bit different. They say there's other tests they can do (a barium swallow?)
Just picked up a grocery order. Now I am eating lunch with Lucky.
You will be happy to get your hair done. Is it the same lady you had before?
Guess that's all for now, sis. Just believe in signs, love all you can on your kids and pets and yourself and be happy!
Checking back later, of course. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Maggie-- Thank yu for telling me that Fred will be with me in spirit--Now I am crying-- I miss him so so much! he knew everything-- It is so hard to move and not have him with me--- You are so good to remind me of that! --- And yes, the hair Lady is just up the road from here--She lost her husband also --Today has been a sad day--Lynda
DeleteSo sorry you're having a difficult day. It's so hard when you lose a spouse. It's been 12 yrs for me and I still miss him every day. So sorry for the loss of your friend. Take care. Glynis from BC
ReplyDeleteGLYNIS__ thank yu so so much for writing--How did yu ever go thru all that?-- --12 yrs-=-?--- Do yu have any info that helped yu get thru it?--Lynda
DeleteOh my goodness! So much going on. Glad you will be able to go to the hair dresser. Is it the same one you’ve used in the past? HOPE so.
ReplyDeleteOh for SURE you/ll see Fred again. No doubt about that. As for whether or not he’s ok, I can only say my brother and parents sent me signs they were OK. Dad’s was a cardinal and a bird that I KNOW he sent. They looked directly @ me, sat RIGHT BY ME. My brother always collected coins, especially pennies. I am ALWAYS finding pennies “from Heaven” and I know they’re from him. So, you’ll get a sign.
Life does go on. Much as sometimes we want the world to stop, it doesn’t and our loved ones want us to be brave and continue on. You are!
So sorry to hear about your friend’s passing. Condolences. So hard!
It’s good to be strong, but it’s also good to acknowledge sadness and shed the tears when you feel them!
Hugs and blessings

Hi Lynda
ReplyDeleteOf course Fred is with you. You have to be aware of his signs. My mother sends me pennies and bright red Cardinals. Fred's around...look for his signs.
I'm sorry to hear about your friends passing.
Lynda, please try to find a grief support group. Many churches offer them.
Keep yourself busy
Contact your friends. Go to the lodge, or an aquatics class or something you enjoy.
One thing, one step, one moment at a time.

It's Kathy. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. It's always hard to lose someone and losing Fred must be the hardest of all. But I'm so proud of you for getting up every day and taking care of what you can! I went to the gym today to take the Ballet Barre class. I love it so much, the time just flies by. But it's so hard for me to do with my back still not 100%. But I'm proud of myself for going - I think it's the very thing that will get my strength back! I'm glad you're going to your Son's dock. Getting out always helps me! We're here for you!
