Holy Cow! To-day is Friday, January 30th--It is --7-30am--cold--- not snowing--yet-and I see "daylight " just peeping over the fence here.-- The wash is in -- Lopez down here with me--in his chair--asleep---I hear we have an extreme cold warning --outside-- minus 30-C--The poor car eh--sitting out there in the cold!
Son #2, the Air Canada Pilot, is in Tel Aviv--has sent a few pictures already--It was an 11 hour flight--3 Pilots--The first picture is of the beach there--
I must do my "housey" stuff--but I shall return as soon as I turn on the washer--and make a coffee--
Good morning, Lynda! Yes to the coffee! It’s “magic” bean water! We are in a deep freeze warning in Ohio tonight. Not fun! We should be with Matt. Looks so nice there. I don’t fly so that wouldn’t work. I hope you have a fabulous Friday! Stay warm! Hugs! Hi sweet Lopez!!
ReplyDeleteMinus 30C here this AM<--SO so Cold Lynda
DeleteI drove out to Dunlop to-day past our old house--- I always want to go in--LOL--Not a good idea!-Lynda
DeleteGood Morning, Lynda! Love how you get up and get going every morning. Sometimes I feel like you get more accomplished in the early hours than I do the whole day! Hope you’re staying warm and thank you so much for this blog. ❤️
ReplyDeleteSo so cold here outside--Poor wee Loprz eh?? Lynda
DeleteHappy Friday Lynda,
ReplyDeleteThe beach in Tel Aviv looks wonderful, especially when we are all the throws of cold winter temperatures. It's 1 degree F here and we are supposed to have frigid temperatures all weekend.
I bet little Lopez hates going out when it's this cold. Poor guy.
I hear you on the car being out in the elements without a garage. Pain in the rear to clear off the snow and ice when going anywhere.
Hope you have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Jackie
Jackie-It is TERRIBLE--leaving the car outside ALL the time--and now the wind shield--cracked-- It is being repaired as I type here-The insurance will cover the windshield which is good--I think,I should trade t in you know-=-Lynda
DeleteI'm back, Lynda.
ReplyDeleteLove the blasts. There are 2 couples in the photo with Gordon. Are they your maternal and paternal grandparents?
Son #1 is absent from lots of photos of your sons.
Strength comes and goes. Things that help are coffee, naps, music, loving on our pets and other things to think about that we love.
Worrying? That's using your imagination to create something you do not want! Focus on the best outcomes.
Gotta go. 'Becca needs to shop. Her surgery to remove the large kidney stone was complicated. More stones were found. She must have another surgery in 2 weeks. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Your poor Becca--That is a lot of surgery--Son #1 was probably away at University--LOL-- Hope yer day was good!-Lynda
DeleteNaps --coffee--Yes they help-=-=Lynda
Deleteoh no--another surgery??-- Poor yu--and her!-Lynda
DeleteIf you are feeling Healthy, Happy, and Grateful today (like the theme of your blog this morning), I think you will have a great day even if the temps are freezing! Staying positive and upbeat and enjoying the life you have now is how to make it through another freezing day! And it is bitterly cold here too....so my advice is to myself also! :-)
ReplyDeleteYes I ,must work at being happy-- I never knew how Widows were so sad -- never thought of them-- and I am sorry now for them-=Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda, it's Kathy. Today I have no plans and it feels so good. It was a very busy and rather stressful week for me. But I just realized that today is my SIL's birthday and his card is still in my desk. I feel bad that I didn't get that taken care of! But I hope it's better late than never! One year I was flying home from Chicago and just as I landed I got a call from my daughter reminding me because no one had called him to wish him a happy birthday. Too many things to remember! Have a good day and stay warm.
ReplyDeleteYes--Way too much to remember for sure--but-- "better late than never" for sure-Lynda
DeleteJust to have time to think is wonderfui you know-Lynda
DeleteI feel like crying all the time now, I hate the workplace office I'm in now, I miss the room I used to be in which was bright, warm, and I had the sound of the wall heater/air conditioner and my fan, and it was carpeted and I had complete control in there (as no one else was in the room). Now, if I leave something on the floor the woman next to me complains, and/or comes over and tells me I am photographing something wrong. I am independent as hell, and that bothers me no end. Monday a new woman hire will be sitting next to me and I won't like that either. I used to enjoy my job, but no longer. I'll try to hang in there until I'm eligible for social security which will be next autumn, then I guess I'll try to find a "work from home" type job. Bleah.
ReplyDeleteHope the rest of your day is simply marvelous, LOL - remember Billy Crystal on SNL and his "simply marvelous?"
Marti
P.S. Why, oh WHY, does life have to change? I know you feel the same way, for a different reason, but why, when something is going just great, does life have to throw you a big ole curve ball?
DeleteMarti
Marti--Mayne tell that woman--in a nice way--that she should not treat yu the way she does--Yu know, its hard to tell a person that but "YOU" will feel better after-- I would do that--She has no business to treat yu like she is doing--Lynda
DeleteOh my goodness. That beach in Tel Aviv looks absolutely enchanting!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the blasts from the past. That’s so wonderful to look @ those photos and have the memories.
Take good care. HUGS and blessings
