Good morning, Lynda! It’s going to be 58 in Ohio on Friday! Rain for a few days but that warm up will melt our snow. I think every day is a tad crazy. My nephew leaves tomorrow, my husband goes back to work tomorrow, my son and his family got sick over Christmas and have not made it here to do gifts. My tree is up waiting. Geez, I feel tired and crazy! LOL! I am just ready to rest. I hope your day is great! I am waving back at Fred. Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteawwwwwv Yu waved back at Fred--So nice of yu-- And yes, yu sound busy but a good "busy"--LOL--Lynda
DeleteGood morning, sis. Thanks for the have a happy day kitty. I shared that already.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos as always...especially Fred waving at the camera and you at your graduation.
We didn't get the ice storm they were predicting yesterday, thank goodness. Now it's just cloudy with a bit of fog and temps 33F.
Today for me it will be personal stuff...my spa footbath, etc. So glad I treated myself to that. It softens my goofy toe nails so they're easier to trim.
I am expecting 2 packages to be delivered today. That's always fun.
I don't need to drive anywhere...yet. We'll see what the people I help with their errands want.
I'll be back later, Lynda. YOU have yourself a good, happy day, too. When you think of something sad...switch it up and think something happy instead. It can be hard, but it really helps. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
OK Maggie--I had a cleaning Lady here today--so I cleaned right along with her-- and we have rain falling--Yucky-- Of course I ,miss Fred--Does one ever get over this?--Hugs, Lynda
DeleteSending your cute cat meme right back to you! Wishing you a fabulous, crazy, good and happy kind'a day ! Today is a good day as we get to enjoy another day of life on this earth!
ReplyDeleteYes another day of life on this planet which ,means a lot-- Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I love the old photos. So full of memories. And seeing Himself wave hello - yes, even from heaven. He will always be with you! It is so easy to let your mind go to the darker side - especially these days. I have lived in Minnesota and we are having such scandals with people setting up businesses, getting federal and state money, and not having a business at all! They say we've lost up to 9 billion dollars since Covid! Our Governor just resigned which I'm happy about because I never liked him. It's so hard to think about people stealing from us like that! So I turn off the news and focus on the wonderful things I have to be grateful for! I hope you have a really great day! No snow here today but it rained overnight and then froze so everything is pretty icy!
ReplyDeleteKATHY__ VERY ICEY HERE ALSO__ rain on snow--ALL day--I tend to turn off the news also--Itc seems ab lot of it is bad----It was a lovely day"people-wise" here to-day----snow again to-morrow I hear--Lynda
DeleteJanuary 6th, epiphany! Hello back to Fred, up in heaven! And I hope that the clapping works. I'm busy, so not thinking so much about happy, but I guess "productive" is close to happy, as it's feeling "accomplished". Whenever I get a load of laundry done, or the parlor vacuumed (my Sadie is here, when Ember goes to daycare), I feel like I have "done my job".
ReplyDeleteHang in there, and hope it's a good day!
- Barb OKM
Oh Barb--WE must make it a good day Eh??--I am trying o eat more At home--not go out to Son#1as much--but--I do hate eating alone--Lynda

oh Barb--I really enjoyed nursing--not the first year but the next 3 yrs--Lynda
DeleteHi, It’s Alice, the nurse in San Francisco! I love your nursing grad pictures! I have one like it from 1977 hanging at Pittsburg State University in Kansas! Nursing was the best profession and Injustice retired at the age of 70, the end of December! Now, for my next act. Trying to figure it all out, but sure it will be as exciting and fulfilling as. Love your words of wisdom and family pictures, too. Look forward to your blog daily. Hugs from the City by the Bay, Alice
ReplyDeleteAlice--You are so good-so yu are a Nurse also??--I hated our first year, but enjoyed the rest--then married a DR--LOL__Did yu??--Lynda
DeleteI feel deja vu - didn't you share the same pictures and say the same thing yesterday? Maybe it's me who's nuts, LOL
ReplyDeleteI don't think we should try to be happy or sad - but just "BE." Today is a gray, depressing kind of day, it's misting out, BUT the good news is that I was at work all day with no window in my room, yay, so I had no clue what the weather was. Only when I left. I walked the dog in the drizzle and then came in and shut all the blinds so I don't have to see the gloom, haha. So I shall now relax and be on my computer until it is time to eat dinner. Lots to read and peruse until then. After that I will settle down and watch some true crime, it's about all I ever watch anymore. Fascinating stuff!
Marti
dont think so Marti but maybe-- 'specially the one of Fred--Yu might see that one a lot--LOLOL--He is always on m,y mind--Lynda
DeletePS. from Marti - I was like, what the heck was I trying to say? I think I was trying to say that if I am at work and keep busy and have a purpose, I am really, overall, pretty happy. We all need a purpose.
ReplyDeleteYes-WE all need a purpose in life-- Lynda
Deletewonderful to see Dr Fred wave to us this day we have snow in the forecast today I do so hope that we get some here in Arizona we do need it
