It is Sunday, January the 11th---- Where do the days go?-- Yesterday I did go to see my Doctor--and now I have to go to see an specialist in Endocrinology--have 2 appointments --one in Sudbury , to the East of here--and another in Sault St Marie, to the west of here--I guess which ever comes first--and specific instructions to not take my Synthroid in the mornings anymore--with food--only in the evenings--Oh Lordy! I just hope things can be corrected- (It does seem like when Fred passed, a lot of me "passed" with him)
So, I got up this AM., and took the sheets off the huge King bed-- and already they are washed and now in the dryer--I wonder why I dread changing that King bed so much , when it really was quite easy to do--?????--"Words of Wisdom"

Good morning, Lynda! We got snow in Ohio last night. Cold and windy. It was 60 and no snow on the ground but that didn’t last. I would rather go work out at the gym than wrestle making a king size bed. LOL! But we do it, right? Sorry about your health problem. Maybe it will fix itself now you will take at night. You had a doctor appointment yesterday on Saturday? I wish we had appointments on a Saturday. On the weekend you have to go to urgent care. I hope you have a super Sunday! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOMG_-whatta day it has been--Phil CAME OVER _HELPED me send back the snow blower-- it stopped working__He helped me order a new EGO one--half the price--Lynda
DeleteMorning Lynda,
ReplyDeleteWell at least you found out that you should take your meds in the evening without food. Hopefully, that will help with getting your blood work back in check before you visit with the endocrinologist.
Nice blog and with a lot of good reminders for all of us. As for the being kind, it reminds of the saying from the late, great Robin Williams, "Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.".
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Jackie

ReplyDeleteGood morning, sis!
The photos are great, your son's hair grayed a lot in those few years.
Is it the same German in the second photo? Looks like a good meal you all are enjoying.
Lots of sun here today, but only 13F.
The king bed would have been easier to change...you were younger and Fred may have helped. It's easier when there is one person on one side and the other on the other side of the bed.
I got lots done yesterday. Today it just may be the kitchen floor...again. I seem to drop and spill much more often than I used to.
Exercise will happen, too.
Hope you get your specialist appointment soon.
I just take my throis first thing. The directions say nothing about not drinking with it so I sip my coffee. Then I eat breakfast about an hour later. Whatever works for us, I guess.
I'll be back later, Lynda. Please have a good day...do things you enjoy as much as possible. Even enjoy the feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment when a chore is complete. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Ohhhhhh Maggie--not the same without Fred --for sure!!-much harder--but--Phil came over today--helped me wth the snow--Lynda
DeleteWho would have known what was to come I am glad that they are taking care of your health

DeleteI take my thyroid meds at night when I'm getting ready for bed. Although the instructions on the bottle said to take in the morning half an hour before meals, I had read in the news that a study showed it was more effective if taken at night (assuming you're not snacking up until bedtime). My doctor gave the okay to give it a try, and my numbers have been stable all along. It's good that you have appointment(s) to see what's going on. It took one of my friends two years of trial and error to get the dose right. Stay warm, and hugs to Lopez and Sushi. / Leslie
ReplyDeleteI shall take the meds at nite from now on---so hard to regulate the meds eh?--Lynda
DeleteWhat I'm wondering is why does your son not have his shirt on and the other is in short sleeves while Alison is all bundled up, in WINTER? LOL
ReplyDeleteI find it's lots easier to hang around younger people who do not talk about death, try that. I live here in the condos and most everyone is older than I am in their 80's, and my neighbor DOES talk about people dying a lot, how all her friends are dying, or have passed and such, and I get a really bad feeling and can't stay around that talk too long at all. It's very depressing. Also, try to laugh, and watch comedies and such. It's all in what you focus on! :)
