Thanks for being my friend! I appreciate it!

Good Morning--It is Wednesday January the 28th--It feels like it must be cold outside as it feels pretty cool in here.I have turned up the heat. One good thing however is that it is NOT snowing--yet--I see it might start in the afternoon--

Well, it is now almost 10-30am-- and I need to sweep off the car, and head to the grocery store--Make sure your day IS going well--If it isn't, change it--make it happen----Tell your self that "You CAN"  do this--
I hear that Son#2 the Pilot,  is going to TelAviv to-morrow. Do any of you need a ride there? If so, let me know, and I shall book you on--
So--- a few blasts from the past--
This is Emma -Son#3's daughter--now in her 2nd yr University--
-and Emma's Mom with Hannah-- Son#2's daughter--finished University now-and below, me---  HIMSELF'S SISTER--WITH HER DAUGHTER--now an adult--
So-- Wise words-- #1.-Happy is a person with a Hobby
                               #2.Live in the present.
#3.Spend some of your time protecting the earth
So, I am off to get a few groceries--and will be back as soon as I can-- Meanwhile remember that you are STRONG_and YOU CAN DO almost everything! I will check on you all later-
                                -BE A STRONG PERSON--

  4. Good morning, sis!

I am having a good day and will continue to do so until tomorrow. That will be another good day. Oh, there will be a bit of contrast (things I really DON'T want), but I will focus on the good stuff.

It's 1F here but sunny with a beautiful blue sky. The temp is supposed to rise to the 'lower teens.' No snow predicted for today.

Love the blasts! You have so many photos to cherish. Now, I am sure, you are happy you took all those photos.

I don't need a ride anywhere, but if I did I would choose Tel Aviv.

Honey, I have written at least 3 books. One is actually in the US Library of Congress. One is in my given name, the others are under a pen name. The others are online. I did NOT write, "Wild."

Hope it's not too hard with the snow or too much money for the groceries.

I'll be back at end of day to check for comments and see how your day went. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. Hi Lynda, it's Kathy. I'm a little late checking in. We had to take Daisy to the vet, poor little thing has an ear infection. I hope all goes well at the grocery store! I made a double batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies - one for a friend's brother's funeral and the other for at home. I will bake them this afternoon. It's still cold here too but should warm up by Saturday. Possibly snow too. Take care.

  6. I'm back home from my freezing cold workplace. Glad to be back in a warm house.

Tell me, I know some of your grandkids are out of university now, but what is their profession NOW? What does Hannah do for a living? Just curious what fields they are in.

About your car, my friend covers hers with a car cover. You could get a car cover and never have to shovel or sweep it again. They are just plastic and you just fling it on your car. Might be an idea. Of course, if there's wind you have to set something on it or clip something heavy on it to make it stay down. Or...would your apartment let you build or place a carport? I've heard of little lean to's or whatnot on Amazon that someone puts together and makes into a carport.

    2. Hannah must be very smart! What is Nrsy? Nursing, perhaps?
Cool to know more about them and what they do/want to be!

I have a friend who has a son, 23 now. He completed his Bachelors and has also gone on to Grad School, it's a Christian University. He works for the dorms there and somehow, gets his tuition free and lives in an apartment nearby, free. I kinda forget what he's majoring in - business, maybe, or sports management. He's very athletic and plays basketball for the University. Also works as a youth pastor, at least now and again. Not sure. I used to babysit him from older babyhood on until, I suppose he was around 12 or so. I never see him anymore, but that's my only experience with children. We used to play videogames together, mostly.
