Good morning-- I am up--thanks to Lopez--who felt he needed a drink of water--so, we went out in the dark and he also did whatever he needed to do out there--AND--IT WAS COLD__and dark-SNOWING in fact-so, I took out the garbage recyclables also---and--there is snow all over the car AGAIN-- all over the driveway also--lotza snow too---Elliot Lake gets a great deal of "snow"--
So, do you write notes to yourself??--like--stuff to do--when ever you have time?--Oh dear-I hear Sushi crying--I believe she is telling me that she needs her breakfast--I best run that up to her--Poor girl--Life is busy FIRST THING IN THE MORNING?--
So, are you happy and you know it?-- As Mom used to say, if you are, "clap your hands-"-It is a new day and we are a part of it!
My poor husband is not -but who knows eh?--Hopefully he is with my Mom and Dad who admired him --We know so little of "their world " now--People tell me that he is with me "in spirit"--I try to believe that-_What do you think?Words of wisdom help me ---because we can believe whatever we want--

Quote for the day
Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm and harmony.
Thomas Merton
Great balance make Happiness-=-so true--Lynda great quote--
DeleteHi Lynda
ReplyDeleteDarn snow! Wish you had a garage but....oh well. Cant have everything.
Sushi gets her food taken to her upstairs lol. What a princess. Sounds like she's still not coming down and if you left food out, Lopez would eat it. Don't worry Sushi, room service is coming lol.
Great words of wisdom. I love those. #1 IS FUNNY. Thanks for sharing.
Sweet picture of Fred. Yes, I believe he is with you, watching over you and the kids.
I make lots of list. Some are long range projects, some are projects like purge papers, cabinets and closets. Some lists or daily calls or errands etc. The daily and the others, don't always get done. Lol
Your kids..cute picture.
Stay warm and well. Still cold, but dry, in St.Louis.
Make today special
Hugs
Marge
cold again--but we do have sunshine-- Summer will be nice-- Lynda
DeleteGood Morning Lynda! I love your Words of Wisdom. Today the one that says Stare truth in the face is very fitting for I too have lost my husband. It’s been 9 weeks for me. It’s been a brutally cold and dark winter here in MA. But, the days are getting longer.
ReplyDeleteIt’s great that you have your fur babies to keep you busy and to snuggle with. My daughter and family just returned from a ski trip in Quebec. She said it was the coldest cold she has ever experienced.
Enjoy your day! Vicki from Mass
Your daughteR WOULD NOT LIKE IT HERE__I had forgotten how cold Elliot Lake is--Lynda
DeleteGood morning, sis.
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to copy and paste to your song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yYBRqt1xU0
Love your photos today, as always. Such a wonderful family. How many grandkids do you have? I have eleven.
Just put in 2 large loads of laundry. No one was in the laundry room for a change.
It's 26F here (not too cold, but colder than I'd like) and cloudy.
You know that I believe our loved ones 'in spirit' are always with us. I've had so much proof.
Sushi waited a while before she called for breakfast? Wow. Lucky doesn't wait. I have to start the coffee and feed him while it's perking. Then take my thyroid (those pills again).
I only have a few minutes before I have to go put the laundry in the dryer.
I'll check back later, Lynda. Make it a good day! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Grandkids--Hmm--Andrew 1 Matt 2---Phil 2--Tim 2 Allison 2--makes 9 Grand kids--and they all have dogs and cats-- Oh man--I need gto heAr yu tell me how yu know yer loved ones are with us still-- Please tell me--I am trying hard to believe they are---Lynda
DeleteGood morning Lynda, you're off to a great start on this Monday. Finally there is no rain in the forecast for the coming week. All the "chores" you do in a day keeps you young. Older people that sit in front of a TV all day, are doing their health great harm. Do you still get your hair done on Thursdays, or does it depend? I hope the week ahead goes well. Fred is always with you because you have the necklace with his ashes. He's also with you in spirit.
ReplyDeleteMaureen from California
Thursdays is my "hair Day" yes--And yes, I try yo believe that Fred is always with me--hard tho--I only saw him that one time--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I have a "To Do" list electronically on my tablet. I keep everything in there and often, if I forget to look, I forget to do something important. So I look a few times a day now! I also have post it notes here and there. My memory is just not what it used to be! Have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteAhh Kathy--My memory seems weird right now--It seems to go with age--Lynda
DeleteYep, I like to do "To Do" lists....they keep me focused on things that must be done.....it feels good to cross them off the list! Some days I don't do a list and jump right into doing things....seems like I get a lot more accomplished when I don't spend as much time on my computer in the mornings...So your sister's name is Sandra! Did you ever call her Sandy or was it always Sandra? Funny that I always wished my name was Cassandra or Saundra...sounded more sophisticated I guess hahaha! I believe Sandra means "friend" at least I think that is what I was told. At 78, I never know if I am remembering things correctly! Stay warm! Hate it that you are having to deal with all the cold and snow! We are going to make it up into the 60's today! So I will be outside taking down all those Christmas lights I put up on a warmer day in November!
ReplyDeleteOther people called HER "Sandy""--but--to me, she was always "Sandra"--- She was the 5th child in my family--adopted too--I ewas so excited when Dad said we could keep her!--Lynda
DeleteI can't say I'm clap my hands happy at all, but I'm not sad. It's just a Monday, a back to work Monday after 5 days off, back to business as usual. We still have not moved out of our warehouse into the new site that we were told we would be in by January 15th. The date keeps changing. I don't know if I want to be there or not, but I want to know DEFINITELY when it will happen, so I can price everything accordingly, as we don't want to have to move too many things.
ReplyDeleteMarti
Oh I’m constantly writing reminder notes. They help.
ReplyDeleteOh I do believe our loved ones are w/us in spirit, but as we are in this physical world, sometimes it’s hard to believe that.
LOVE your words of wisdom.
HUGS and stay strong.

DeleteWe are supposed to have 1-2 inches of ice tonight starting at 9 PM!
ReplyDeleteLove, Maggie
OH NOooooooo Maggie I do hate the ice--Lynda
DeleteWarm for the season down here in the lower 48... at least my little section of it. And yes, I write myself notes! I keep track of what time I put in the a.m. eye drops, and what time the p.m. eye drops... otherwise I'm in danger of missing a dose or double dosing!
ReplyDeleteAnd I keep a "to-do" list as well as a grocery list. Today Ember went with me on two human errand runs... to the bank, and to the library... with a side trip through the coffee drive-thru where she gets a doggie biscuit.
Hang in there, my friend... we can do this!
Yes We must do this--I agree-Lynda
