*What the HECK" eh???

" I CAN Do THIS"-----  Every morning--  Tell yourself , "I CAN do this!"--and we CAN!!

We have sunshine  here in Lakefield--It feels a tad cold--but---  I hear the temperature will go up to around 16C--not bad---There is a chance of showers this evening--

So, how is your day going?/-- Yesterday I took Lopez to the vet here in Lakefield--It went well--   but--- expensive-- The bill was over $600-=-I do not believe he had many shots while in Elliot Lake--I guess I was just plain too busy--Now Sushi must go---She is  an indoor cat, so the bill (hopefully) will be less--

I have the greatest news EVER----for all of you--- I now have a townhouse to move into, in Elliot Lake--2 bedrooms--  August 1st---  Now isn't that the most exciting thing ever??--   2 levels--a small yard--   washer and dryer--  The rent is less than here--  I reserved it!--It means another move---  FOR ME---=  but---  I need to go "HOME""--  Elliot Lake is my home--Lakefield is beautiful, but, it is not my home--

I am very excited to go back home!-

Home is where the heart is-

So---I shall figure out how  to send a video of the Townhouse, I will get it off to yu--  Excited--- positve thinking for sure!--  -------All I can say is--------

                                                                "What the Hell eh?"

  1. Good morning, sis.
It's sunny here too. Not too warm yet but, of course, it will warm up as the day proceeds.
It is important to take care of our pets. It is definitely more expensive than we would like. Lucky goes in once a year for a rabies shot even though the only time he goes anywhere outside of the apartment is when he goes to the vet! It's the law even if they're indoor pets.
I never did get laundry done yesterday, so that chore has been moved to today. Must get garbage and recyclables out, too.
Shopping to do, too. Had an order delivered yesterday, but they didn't have all I wanted in stock...mainly cat food!
I hop your day goes as you want it to. Are you still taking time for music, naps, reading, piano, etc? They are important for relieveing stress and rejeuvinating our physical and mental health.
I'll check back later after I get stuff done around here. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

Another chance to purge. I'm sure you hate me saying that by now lol
Think small...less to pack, move and clean. Do you have a garage??? Lots to do and arrange. I'm so very happy for you.
Wow...the vet charges for Lopez seem very high..don't know what all he got but gotta do it.
Enjoy today. I bet your on cloud 9 and cant wait for August.

  6. Lynda, if anybody can do it, you certainly can. You are such a strong and determined woman, and it seems the spring in your step has returned. I wish your townhouse was on one level, but I'm sure you can handle the stairs. This time you will have the time you need to pack and organize yourself since the move isn't until August. In the meantime you can enjoy what Lakefield has to offer. I'm happy that you'll have time with Matt and perhaps your daughter will visit this Summer before you move. Keep calm and carry on, as the saying goes.

  7. Hi Lynda! It is hot in Ohio! 74 degrees and humid. I must get the AC going at some point. That vet bill is very expensive. Wow! My two yorkies annual exam and shots is not that much combined. I am soooooo excited for you getting to go home. Did you change your mind on the bungalow? Is your bedroom on first level? Hope so. Happy days ahead! Hugs!

  8. It's Kathy. This is such great news! I'm so glad it worked out for you. Yes, another move but you've had practice now! You'll be back where you feel at home. I'm just so happy for you. Today is a very nice day in Minnesota - mostly sunny and quite warm. Tomorrow the rain comes again but Daisy and I are going to enjoy the sunshine. That's a lot for a Vet bill - we have to take Daisy next week and get her meds (flea & tick and heart worm) so I'm our bill will also be quite high! But she is worth every penny. She'll be 12 in May and she's slowing down a lot, but she still loves us both! I can't wait to see your new place! Enjoy this day!

  12. I am happy that you are happy! I feel your pain about the vet bills....I know when I take my two cats in for their yearly check-ups, I always leave in shock at the price of the bill....but I want to keep my fur babies healthy as they are a big comfort to me. They have adjusted nicely to this little house the insurance company is renting for me....and I know it will be hard to move them again when my house is finally restored from the fire....they have tolerated living in my son's basement for a month and now to this little house for the past 4 months....hopefully in another 5 months or so we can go back to our "real" home....I miss it so much!

  14. Hi Lynda,
I have an appointment Friday to take my 2 cats for their annual shots. They hate going, they get really scared, so I am not looking forward to it. Thank goodness it's only once a year.
Well good for you on finding a place in Elliott Lake that works for you. How far is it from where you are now? Hopefully, you will get to see Matt and family often, they have been such a help while you have been living in Lakefield.
