A lot going on here--

                                                Sunday--"sunny Sunday"--and it is warm--

OK---  I cannot look after Son#3's , 2 dogs any more--  #1----reason--is--- this tiny house I now live in, is just too small for 3 tiny (sorta) dogs----and Apollo (one of the dogs) ate everyone's breakfast--twice--!And I had to keep re-feeding Lopez and LOLA-and Apollo even ate those meals--I think Apollo had 5 breakfasts--and Lopez decided he had enough  of the chaos so began to growl at me and all the other dogs--This morning has been crazy--and I cannot get anything else done--the reason I am late posting also!!

I believe Son #3 caught wind of my dilemma, and told us he will return tomorrow night-- Praise the good Lord!--He is taking his two daughters to University--both will be attending different places this fall-

Here they are --probably eating breakfast and his wife and 2 daughters----plus Son#2's  daughter who just finished her courses at Ottawa U.

Son #4 was just out here-----brought my battery lawn mower--plus a wheel barrel and a garbage pail--said my new shed is nearly full--  Boo Hoo----(It is not easy living in a tiny house!)----well, with 3 dogs and a cat----a lesson for me I guess!  People in tiny houses can only  do so much--nothing extra!-----I never knew this before--always had a large home!--you know--maybe its time to go on a holiday--get away from the chaos here--LOLOL--

I shall have to think about this--give it some serious thought!

  1. Good morning Lynda. I'm not sure what to make of your comment about a tiny house and giving it some serious thought. You're not considering another move to a larger home, are you?. I mean the townhome you've shared photos of certainly seems to be large enough for you, Lopez and Sushi. Your son which just have to board his dogs in the future.

As forApolla eating all the food, why didn't you put him in your fenced backyard while the other ate? Yesterday you mentioned taking the dogs one by one for a walk. Once again, why not put them in the fenced backyard to do their business. I thought that was the point of having a fenced yard.

Well, I hope your day improves. Very, very hot here in So. California, mid to high 90s going forward for the remainder of the week, with humidity.

  2. Good afternoon, sis.
I am laughing still. I shouldn't laugh at your breakfast situation with the dogs, should I? But as I read I was picturing the chaos going on. If it was video recorded you could have posted it online. It would have received lots of emojis and shares!
What a lovely breakfast photo of Son #3 and his harem...his daughters and niece!
I guess you'd say that I live in a tiny house, too. My apartment is just over 800 square feet. The biggest problem? I would love more organized storage solutions. So I understand your issues with that shed.
I did go to karaoke last night, but I left way early. They had the A/C so high...with a sweater and heavy denim jacket over it, I was still freezing cold.
Lunch now for Lucky and I...hope your doggies don't do lunch. I'll return later, dear. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

    2. Sis, I am back! Honey, Lopez isn't bad...he's following his instincts! Those other doggies don't live there all the time. Lopez is just defending his territory. The other Apollo and Lola are just responding. It will be over soon.

  3. Hi Lynda! It sounds like a whole lot going on at your house! Sorry it isn’t going well. Maybe put dogs in fence while feeding each one inside. Yes, you need a vacation. It is warm and sunny in Ohio! Think you need ice cream soon so you must be coming! LOL Big hugs to you!

    1. Yes--- I do need ice cream and just a vacation--I know Phil really couldn"t have taken Apollo-- (who is living on borrowed time!)_-and who wants their dog when the daughters are off to University--such a special trip for them--all of them-- and no one else volunteered to take Apollo and Lola (Phil's dogs)-so Gramma did (whose house is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY small--and GRAMMA FORGETS THIS!)-

  4. Hi Lynda. I don't understand why you don't just shut Lopez or the other dogs in another room. If they don't like it, oh well. Shut each dog in a room and let each one eat in peace. Keep Lopez in another room and let the other dogs have the space. It will be over with soon, no biggie.

  5. Oh boy. Sounds like having 3 doggos and Sushi is a lot for your small space. *SIGH* Oh well, things change.

For sure, it would be nice for you to get away when you feel ready and are able.

Sorry for all the chaos, but . . . at least you know now that it isn’t going to work.

Love the picture of your DS w/his DD’s and niece.

    Hope things settle down!

  6. Hi Lynda: I agree with others - just feed the dogs in separate rooms/spaces. Probably Apollo's health issues cause him to want to eat so much. Just remember as you are still settling in it makes it harder to organize some things that come up. And keep in mind how getting stressed out affects your health. Play the piano tonight! Hugs Brenda

  7. Hi Lynda - You are so kind to help your son out while he is taking his daughters to school. Sorry it’s been frustrating. You’re a good mom to help him have this special time with his family. Sounds like he appreciates it as well. Love the idea of you taking a trip. Do you have a girlfriend or family member to join you or a destination in mind? Planning something special like that has its own joys. Your new place looks so comfortable and homey. Love the flower pots you added outside. Hope you have a more peaceful day tomorrow. Take care of yourself, friend. ❤️

    1. Hi there--Yes a trip does sound good--maybe not right now --but sorta soon--Lynda

  8. Oh goodness. Sounds a bit rough. All you can do is separate the dogs and their food bowls. Or, send 2 outside while one eats and then send in and out the next dog. Lopez...well.
Sure, why not plan a trip somewhere with a friend or family member. Do it.
Son looks happy with the girls.
    Hope today is better.

  9. Oh, dear, I read this one second, after I already responded to this morning's blog with "glad the dogs are getting along!" So sorry that Apollo treated you and Lopez so badly! When I keep both Carl and Ember I have to either let them swap dinners, or I have to keep them in separate spaces to eat with a closed door between! It's never as easy as some folks make it look, is it?

Hope your son has collected his pups by now!

  10. Time for Son #3 to arrange for a dogsitting service to come by to feed & walk the dogs when he's gone.
