Faith, Trust and Fairy Dust---

Good Morning-- It seems cold outside--jacket weather--I have to get the dogs out--right now they are all following me everywhere I walk in here. Already Phil's 2 dogs have sort of had their breakfast and been out____

I did not sleep very well last night-- Every time I move, I lose stuff--like my address book --AND--my Birthday book--- Dad gave me that book when I was 8 yrs old-- I know it is here --somewhere, as I do remember shoving it into a drawer someplace ---Last night I couldn't sleep as I was searching for it, all night.---  opening drawers in every room--Don't you just hate losing something ?---I did order a new address book, online, from Amazon, but it would be nice to find my  old address book--seems like it is gone--sob sob! --I am never , ever , going to move again!

Speaking of "Amazon"---  Isn't it amazing that you can be lying in bed, and shopping at Amazon, and it is delivered the next morning?--  -Amazon is just too convenient isn't it?--

To-morrow I must be at the blood Lab, before 7am-- Thyroid-- It was all out of whack, with the big move--Hopefully it will be back to normal this time!

Son#2 with Son#3 and his wife, with their daughter, en route to her University---somehow they met up----Eventually they will return here, to pick up their dogs--Apollo and  Lola---

Soon all these kids will return to school--sad --  --Educating children is expensive--but--necessary--  Himself and I were so proud to attend each  of their graduations--

Isn't it so true  that we have our children with us for such a short time?
From the time they are born, until they graduate  from some educational place, and find a real job, and then move out, passes so quickly--like a minute---Cherish those 60 seconds-- It goes so quickly--

So, get off of here--  Enjoy your day-----  Be kind to people-- Try to find stuff you have misplaced--Today only comes once--
All you need is FAITH, TRUST, --and a bit of FAIRY DUST,  of course!

  1. Good morning, sis.
Lynda the Law of Attraction says that you will never find anything if you believe it is lost. Just wait for your new one, don't think of the old one. I bet it will appear before you before the new one comes. Or you will be led right to it by your inner guide.
The photo of your sons and theirs is marvelous! Yes, it seems the kids grow up SO fast...we always want them to know where we are, though, and have a place where they can visit.
It's pretty here today, but chilly...just 61F. It's supposed to be 77F later. Some clouds...no rain. We'll see.
Offa here now, sis, like you suggested. I haven't even had breakfast yet!
I commented on your comment last night.

  2. Oh, Lynda, I can so identify with getting up in the night to look "one more place I just thought about" for something I could not find before I went to bed! Sometimes the brain just won't let you sleep!

Anyway, glad the dogs are getting along. Speaking of shopping in bed... I was shopping from a chair on the deck at my son's house... for a dog bed for Ember to match the one son has for Carl! Turns out I can make such purchases on my phone and it was "on sale"... I was calculating in my head if it would be affected by you know who's currently worried about thing about import fees... what a mess we're in with that stuff, but let's not clutter up a friendly blog comment with it!

Love seeing your posts, and wishing you well, this Labour Day!

  3. Faith, trust and fairy dust. Love that.
Your book is in the last place you look lol. It will turn up.
You have handsome sons and lovely grands.
Hoping it went better with the dogs. Had to learn some lessons about separating them at meal time. You survived as did the pups.
Hoping you'll play your piano today.
Amazon is too convenient. Gets me into trouble.
Our babies grow up so fast. My only child, son has end stage renal failure. It's so hard to watch him deteriorate. God be with him and watch over him. Hug your babies.

  4. It's Kathy. Love the first meme - what a cute dog. Daisy will peek at me like that now and then. She prefers I sit in the living room so she knows where I am. We have a coolish day today as well, storms coming in by tomorrow and then temps down in the 60's which is unusual for this time of year. But I'm okay with that and if it rains I get a day off from pulling weeds. My yard is overrun with them - very nasty weeds coming from the two neighbors behind us and the one next to us. Not a one of them cares for their yards! The worst are the sticker bushes - Daisy is very furry and those darn stickers cling to her like crazy! I pulled a bunch of them yesterday and then spent 20 minutes pulling the stickers off my gloves! Love the photo of your two sons and family. Yes, our children grow up way too fast - and then our grandchildren grow up too! I hope you find your address book and birthday book - I think it's probably there with you somewhere! Have a great day!

  6. Happy Labor Day, Lynda! My bf and I are headed off to see "Freakier Friday" at the cinema. Had our big Labor Day cookout food yesterday, and will again today! It's so nice to have a day off from work, with my bf at my side.

Don't stress about your lost items. They will turn up! :)

  7. Hi Lynda, have you unpacked all of your boxes? You probably packed the address book/birthday book as you were finishing up packing because you might have felt you would need it before actually moving. Where did you normally keep the books? Is it possibly you placed the books in a drawer of a piece of furniture to be moved? Oftentimes, when I've misplaced something, I put it out of my mind and go on to something else. Very frequently, after I've moved on to something else, I remember where I put the item.
Peace will be restored to your household this evening once Lola and Apollo are picked up. Play your piano and enjoy your day.

  8. Hi Lynda,
It's getting warmer here again, but not uncomfortably warm. Nice day for Labor Day.
I am sure your address and birthday books will turn up when you least expect it and where you didn't expect it to be. I do know how you feel though. I hate it when I can't find something and then all of a sudden there it is.
Try to get some rest tonight.
    Have a good day!

  9. I am so sorry to hear about your birthday address book. I HOPE you find it. My DD helped me get things re-organized when I got home from the hospital after my hip operation. I know some things are gone (unintended) and others I am slowly finding. Just have to be patient, I guess. What else can you do, right!

Lovely photo of sons #3 and 4 and the girls~!

    Hugs and good luck!
